Apologise before I write lads but I CANNOT give the names out but I have someone that trusts me and i'm just letting you know what he told me JUST NOW.

One player from abroad and one that is playing in England at present were holding talks with LUFC at 10.30am this morning (monday) If he updates me on the situation later and I can give you the names I will.

SORRY I can't be more specific but just letting you know some things seem to be moving along regarding scouting/sourcing players, whoevers doing that job is another question!

Andy - if that is a fact it proves that MC has been busy behind the scenes while out of the country, that is good news for getting things sorted quickly now the sale of Cagliari has gone through.

The overseas player I've not seen play so all I know is what I've read online and he gets decent reviews, as for the player over ere he's above average but I can't see him playing for less than £25k a week?
MC might pay them kind of wages if a players worth it but I don't think he would (only my opinion)

I'm intrigued who's doing the scouting of the players as my contact didn't know, anybody else got any ideas who's pulling the strings on players coming in?

The new coach will not be asked for his opinion of the player. His job will be to coach what he is given regardless of whether he rates them or not.

I thought it was the coach's job to get the best out of whatever he is given, not to 'rate' the players bought for him to work with?

Maybe the players won't rate the coach either.

Mr jenks the whole point in getting a coach is to get the best out of any players the manager (Mr Cellino) brings in

Mr Jenks not sure it matters what the coach thinks of the players it's MC who is doing the choosing.

All MC wants is a yes man to coach the players that are supplied to him, it's a hard job especially if he's told who he HAS to play on a Saturday whether he likes them are not :(

Until this morning I was as worried as MOST Leeds fans mate, just because the two guys were in talks don't mean we will sign them but it's nice to know we are looking to the future and have our noses in the market.

Just puzzles me who's sourcing the players?
ED any ideas?

Hmmm Andy more clues so in looking to the future that means these are both young players who are not quite the finished article yet. However 1 commanding 25k a week and young means he is probably not from the championship. So who is young in the PL and looking to make a move? names on a post card to.

Wonderful news Andy.
I just wondered how 2 different players were meeting MC at the same time.
Sounds slighty bizarre to me but as you are in the know you must be right.

I know you can't say too much but very you've made me very intrigued indeed bud, and you're theory about ed13, I asked him much the same question a while back, as he has more trips than a no 9 bus lol

Ok I see that but how do 2 players hold talks with MC at 10.30 even on the phone.
