I think there's a bit more to it than that. Was possibly going to be a decent player 2-3 years ago, but his regular court appearances; having his name tattoed on his forehead; and, the fact that he hasn't cut it at any club he's been at since Newcastle should tell us all we need to know. Get the problems with dicapline but thought he was a talented player. we do not have a great winger, he is free, wages might be low and maybe he has learnt his lesson, I would be tempted to give him a chance on contract that says if he plays up he is on his bike
