A R has done not a lot for the club yet. The improvement is down to Cellino. He eventually found the right coach and backroom staff and has learnt about English football in ownership terms. He salvaged the club when it was on its knees, endured the abuse from the idiots in LUST (IMO) , has bought out GFH and sold 50% to someone who appears to have cash and who says he wants stability. After the last month or so who wouldn't want to give Cellino credit. We could have been playing Exeter (no disrespect to Exeter) not near the top of the Championship

MC was rubbish with regard to on field management but settled the club and put the books right. Second year he had learnt a bit, stepped back somewhat from the spotlight and started to let the managers manage and select their own players. Third year he has learnt some more. Stopped playing musical chairs with backroom and management. Hired a good 'un and trusted him to do the job without interference. When he came on board he said we wouldn't be ready for promotion in the first two years and here we are in year three going as strong as we ever have been for the last 13. I don't know whether MC's evaluation of the time frame required was a reflection of the task at hand or more of his ability to grow into and understand his own role. Either way, hats off to him. I am glad to say I have always been a supporter. We owe him an awful lot. Well done MC.

Massimo Cellino being an Italian has a direct line to God and should be on the queens honors list the wedding present should write a song for him and Leeds city council erect a bridge somewhere and name it after him

Credit were its due, but MC got lucky with Monk. And let's be honest if he had read some stuff on here 7 or 8 games into the season then GM would have followed all the others out the door.

One or two more losses around that time and Monk was gone imo, and we would probably be fighting relegation once more. Fine lines i'd say. The feel good factor is down to one person and his name is Garry Monk.

MC eventually got it right. He got rid of a lot of the waste, gradually put the ship on the right course and endured the abuse. Without the owner we wouldn't have had Monk. Credit where credit is due. It's not just Monk. Without Cellino we would have been up a creek without a paddle.
