I don't blame Charlie for not playing today. He has is sights on bigger and better things with the likes of Liverpool so why risk getting injured for a game with nothing to play for? All this hate for Taylor is just sour grapes from fans who wanted him to stay which maybe he would have done if Cellino didn't offer him a joke of a contract. Thanks for your service Chalie good luck for the future pal

Supposedly Cellino put together a package that would have given him near parity with Wood last summer, hardly a joke contract he was our highest paid player at the time, Taylors agent refused to look at it or sit down for a meeting. Also a big difference between asking a manager not to play you because you don't want to risk injury and flat out refusing to play, personally disagree with it either way but at least one shows the manager, team and fans a modicum of respect. At the end of the day do you blame the player or the agent, probably more the agent, pretty sure its the same guy that got Cook and Byram to leave, but they will have got told the same thing and they still played to the end, same for Howson, Beckford, Gradel, Schmeichel, etc. that all wanted to go. No excuse.

Disgusting behavior imo. He wouldn't be where he is today if not for Leeds United. I expect he still gets paid this week. I always thought that he was scamming us with his Mid season injury as well. let's hope he keeps the bench nice and warm for whoever he is playing for next season. Love Leeds and those who play for them. MoT

Completely disagree with you Hardy about Taylor. If he'd played the game and then moved on then I for one would have wished him well but he didn't, he refused to play which is out of order. Yes, some fans will slag him off saying rubbish like "he's not that good anyway" - we know he is good and the best LB we've had in a while but yesterday he went down in my estimations - you can't refuse to play just because you're looking to move on to better things.

I've completely lost all respect for Taylor over this one stupid decision. No player is bigger than the club and as a professional, he should do as he is asked to do and turn up for work to do his job. I bet he never refused his pay packet! I sincerely hope the club hit him hard with the maximum fine, not that that will matter when he signs for a Premier league club. Just another example of player power and the lack of loyalty in football these days. Ffs, he's been at Leeds since he was nine years old. Without the club's nurturing of his talent, he wouldn't be in the position he is in today (ready to make a mega bucks move) . It's criminal in my opinion. MM
