Very bold, but a part of me agrees totally, give it 2 games where roofe doesn't score, bamford will be in. Personally think he might even start v milwall as he's got a bigger presence, roofe works so much harder and its commendable, but against boro bamford should have started, would have been hungrier to prove a point to pulis, would have loved to have 1 over on his old team mates, and has height but is still mobile, could have proved the difference. Begging for bamford to come good.

Agree with both of you; he will come good when he gets his chance, but to have dropped Roofe for Boro would have been very harsh on the lad imo. The workrate he has been putting in, will however, mean he needs a break soon anyway I think.

He reminds me a bit of Micheal Bridges when he first arrived. Tall and mobile. Understated. From a North East club. Where he had been playing second fiddle

Please please please can he flourish in a similar manner.
