Bit of a gap and 4 in a row which is very impressive.
Nice to get a penalty but feel roofe should have had 4, missed 2 sitters.

I agree Shadwell, I think that is why Roofe almost fought Hernadez to take the penalty! He was keen to make his figures look better.

When you look at this group of payers, only one key area to improve on that would make an enormous difference to our ability to close out games. Strike rate of goals from opportunities. We should have got 1/ 2 goals early in that game yesterday. If we can score more, the dynamic of the game changes and we don’t have so many scary moments in the last 10 minutes. Our fitness, hard work and team spirit is still pulling us through, but find a way of scoring more and we will be the finished product.

Agree Spanish. We look unstoppable in the first two thirds but as soon as we get near goal it starts to unravel. It's not that we play badly. It's just that we do not seem to have a killer touch. Our decision making seems to fail us. Pass when we should shoot etc. I feel maybe a little greedy. We are second and playing with a patched up team (maybe were getting spoiled) but I look at some of the draws and think "if only".

You’re right, all of you. But if we had that clinical edge in the final third, we’d be winning the champions league. But we are still fighting our way out of the second tier of English football, on a budget. It’s not going to all click at once, but we are getting there! Plus grinding out a result below par like yesterday is a massive positive.

Bright, honestly not looking beyond the Championship, I think we might need a few more tweaks before the champions league beckons. Just looking at what we need to do to improve this year and ease the worrying! Doesn’t even need to be a new player, because we have brown and Bamford to play with as well. I want us to nail promotion this year, the opportunity is there and we have worked so hard to get it. I’m sure the comments about scoring more are probably what bielsa would say himself.

Alf, certainly good to have him fit and breathing down Roofes neck, particularly if what Wex is saying is true and he is earning double what Roofe is earning!

Yes think Roofe should score more but the way we play the attacking midfielders should be as well. Saiz Alioski should have more to their name as well. I am sure the goals will come and no doubt Bielsa will be working on that every training session. The ability is there but we need some one to flip the switch.
