Wilkes now joined Barnsley, maybe he wasn't in Bielsas plans but with the ex-players we sent their way, I can see them having the games of their lives against us this season. Local derbies always hard but this just added extra spice and you can see Wilkes scoring against us.

He deserved to be given a chance, he’s probably been sold for peanuts, Barnsley must be laughing their jocks off!
Mowatt hounded out of Leeds by fickle fans and look at him now, voted their player of season just gone.

PotS in league 1, Mowatt's not quick enyfor this team, and when we let him go I think he had settled for the easy life, well done to him for getting back to his best but not good enough for us now. Wilks has a potentially damaging court case coming up, and he doesn't appear to have the right attitude. So, IMHO, neither of them a great loss.

I worry about what fee we might be getting for Wilks. I read somewhere that it might be about £1m.
This is curious to me as Jamal Lowe is being quoted at the £3m mark and he seems to play in a similar position to Wilks, and have very similar final goals stats for last season.
I can't for the life of me fathom the valuation

The other curious one is Halme. I believe we signed him for £500k two years ago. So in that time he has developed physically, mentally and emotionally. He has taken a decent salary, I imagine. We have invested in his further coaching, and we have given him Championship level experience.
After all this, we are only receiving £500k back!

I don't understand the economics of that at all

Do Barnsley have a superstar on their books, who they are using at the moment to flog season tickets? I can only imagine we have done them a couple of good deals because something is in the pipeline for us out of it all. May be they have agreed to take Edmondson on loan after pre-season, to help us fast track him.
