Having watched some of the Spanish second tier games I am not too sure the benefit Ideguchi will receive at Leonesa. Sure, he will keep fit but as a grounding for English football he would be better served in a local Sunday League team. He would soon learn pass or get hit. Bad pass and get hit by teammate. A few weeks playing for the Dog and Gun would harden him up and he would have all summer for the bruising to go down.

Not living over there I am not sure how it works but wouldn't the same rules that prevent him from living there and playing for Leeds prevent him from living there and playing for anyone else?

Japan ranked just outside the world top 50, unless they get panned every game at the world cup they should easily move into it. As long as he plays most of those and friendlies during their prep matches he should hit criteria for a permit by the end of the tournament i think Alf.
