On another day we would have won this game, if not for silly individual mistakes and poor finishing. What chance have you got when you are beaten by route one. When one CB totally misjudges a punt up field and the other is leaned on and falls over. Bad goal to give away. At the other end a rookie loses composure at a vital time. If Hecky has faith in him then he needs lots of games, whether that's in the first team or U23s, that's another question?

Most other days Matyn! Two mistakes have cost us again, and those mistakes at critical times are the first thing that has to change.

Thanks Brighty yes, Whatever else your opinion of Hecky our loss today was down to individual poor decisions, at both ends of the pitch. Don't know who was supposed to be marking for the first goal but the attacker popped up unopposed to flick on for the first goal. Not one, but both Centrebacks contributed to the second goal. The test of Hecky will come in the summer when, with Ortas wheeling and dealing, will give him the chance to shape his own team.

Is that a fact Martyn? Utter bull? Or just your opinion. Yep it is your opinion. And you can have it pal. And I will never say that your opinion is bull, fella. We battered them for the most part today, but slack defending, and slack finishing cost us the game. And for as much as you hate the gaffer, for your reasons, (again, up to you) he cannot stop players from making costly errors on a matchday.

He picks the players he has available to him, Richie, yes, but did he have any say in the purchase of those players? No. Has he got much better to chose from? No. The squad is too lightweight, lacks depth and ability in many positions. We have a few very good players, but not enough. Even some of the homegrown talent have faded this season, which is all part of a confidence slip in the squad too. That is not something that started with the appointment of PH, nor can it be solved overnight.

His pool of players to choose from is one of the areas of debate.
