If we do get punished for spy gate, then surely everyone, every club that has come out since to say that it has gone on for years or even admitted to doing it should also be punished.
Or is it only punishable if you get caught? 🙈.

It's only punishable if you're Leeds United.

To gives anything other than a slap on the wrist for this would be a disgrace. What about the divers and injury fakers, are their Clubs going to be punished? And what about the Clubs who have done things in the past then and gone unpunished? There are people who seem to want to stop LUFC having any sort of success. If Fat Frank had done something similar you could imagine some of his worshipping pundits saying "How forward thinking of this great young Manager". Makes my blood boil.

Apparently there is nothing in the rules to say it’s not allowed or illegal.! It’s just an integrity and moral issue and if you like gentlemen’s agreement within English football. So as bub says. He’s done it before as have others. So I’d say a punishment off saying don’t do it again. Is sufficient as some ex pros have said. Read Garth crooks article on BBC app and he said. Don’t see what the fuss is about. He had seen and heard off a lot worse going on over the years. Now that would be good too hear. being Leeds we will get a £15 million pound fine. All our best players banned and relegated.
Onwards and upwards. MOT. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️.

It’s a tricky one

It’s a vague ruling they have dragged out about respectimg other clubs

Bielsa has fronted up so realistically they should warn him as to his future conduct and that’s about it

It’s tenuous at best to try and penalise the club based on a vague agreement on respect when Bielsa made it clear he voted on his own

Yes the club is responsible for it’s employees but . it’s mountain out of molehill territory when you consider other stuff going on with little or no action taken

I’d argue we respected direby that much we went to watch their methods 😂😂😂😂

Siege mentality time boys.

As the FA are also investigating the matter I'm wondering if Chelsea will be brought into the investigation, after all, AVB admitted to doing it, against everyone they played against.

From my perspective, there can only be two actions from this.
Bielsa gets a slap on the wrist, and warned, as step 1.
Both associations make the decision to introduce new laws to prevent it happening again, step 2.
There is no precedence, nor specific ruling that says it cannot be done.
As woody says, the whole sham is based on the “interpretation” of “respect” for fellow clubs. My simple interpretation to EFL and FA would be “we were showing that we respect that club, team and manager simply by watching their training, and assessing the clear challenge they represent to us. ”.
