So Derbyshire police have now confirmed (source from Talksport) that the man found outside Derby county training ground was not carrying any pliers, bolt cutters, binoculars, or change of clothing. It was reported that someone was acting suspicious in the area and that is why they attended. A person was spoken to on the public footpath outside the training ground. He was spoken to and allowed on his way, Not asked to or good to leave.
The police also confirmed that they did not enter Derbys training ground and the training was not held up.

Now Frank Lampard said during his post match press conference that the guy had pliers, binoculars etc and the police had also stopped the training session. Frank did also contradict himself by saying he had only heard about the Spy afterwards from his staff.
So with these Facts is Frank Lampard going to now be investigated by the EFL for his untruths and surely this also breaches any spirit of fair play law also.

Methinks Frank has been the one to bring the game into disrepute. Telling porkies the way he has and then screaming from the rooftops is not a good look. Spoiled child stuff really.

According to Franky boy the man was found in his hands and knees hiding in a busy by the fence of derby training pitch with pliers in his hand. From Frank's account the guy was or intended to cut the fence? Total fabrication of the facts. The guy would have been charged under the law with going equipt to seal, or cause criminal damage. NO LAW was broken by this person as he had no tools or equipment to commit any unlawful act and he was on public property. The police just checked his identity and allowed him to continue on his way, didn't move him on even. Tabloid BS and sensationalism by some in the media. I would imagine the EFL will proceed with a trumped up charge of something against the spirit of the game that may include a nominal fine and smack on the wrist. Points deduction would be hard to apply in my opinion and open to a legal challenge by Leeds utd.

FF has listened to too many stories down the years by his Dad and Good old uncle Harry, like the one about his money depositing Dog.
