After having time now to digest the result and game against Sheffield Wednesday I've got to give a shout out to Jack Harrison. I know he has divided opinion on this site and often been slated on how he has played at times. Got to say for a loan player i do believe he does give his all and he has got several goals that have been important to us, Millwall away and yesterday's winner to make two. He is a young player and still learning his trade, and I would not be upset if we signed him on a permanent deal. Bielsa seems to like and trust him so he can't be all that bad.

If we were to stay in the Championship, Mezzer, u would agree whole heartedly but I think he may not be up to Prem level.

Maybe so kiwi but like many in our squad he is young and has the same chance to improve just like Tyler Roberts. Harrison will probably go back to City anyway but just wanted to say that the lad isn't all bad and unlike some loan players who don't appear to care as they know they will return to their parent club, Harrison does at least try. Bielsa seems to trust the lad.

I have a feeling that we'll be after him, and I think he likes life at Leeds. At the age of 22 surely he doesn't want to go back to Citeh, playing U-23s or being in the first team squad with not much of a chance of getting on the pitch.

Isn't he of £50k a week. Can't see us paying him that kind of money.

I don't think we can afford his £51k/ w salary.

For me Harrison is in the Alioski basket. Do not doubt their application just question their quality. The both seem to lack the ability to comprehensively beat an opponent along the touchline. Get to the deadball line and put in a telling cross (something O'Dowda or James do with regularity) even moving Alioski has merely brought up fresh problems. He just cannot defend! and for most of the time all it means is we are playing with 2 wingers.

How many players in the past have we sold and subsidised their salary. That’s going to happen a lot from next season, with the new rules on the number of players you can send out on loan per season. Citeh and Chelski particularly will have to be selling a few young ones, probably with a buy back option, but also subsidising weekly wages. That will play in our favour for Harrison, and Brown.
