Wow! What have I missed on Here!

Got on a ferry to Spain on Saturday morning, arrived in Santander at 3pm Sunday and drove all day to get back to Valencia!

Why have I left Leeds?, because I made my travel plans on assumption we would be promoted at the Villa game! Bad planning!

Now I have to return! Thinking of writing to Bielsa and asking him to refund me as I'm sure he would admit it's his personal responsibility!

I arrived back in Leeds in August last year not sure how long I would stay!

Why did I stay so long? Because the season has been absolutely incredible, first team and under 23s! I can't say that I enjoyed every minute because I was there for Wigan, and Sheffield and Norwich! But the year has been superb and I have some amazing memories.

We came third! With a coach named "El Loco" who actually has done what it said on the tin, showed his brilliance and his stubborn and eccentric character. With a chairman as George quite rightly says who is still learning the football ropes. With a team pretty much the same as last year. And with a fan base pretty much convinced that disaster, collapse and conspiracy is always just around the corner! Oh I did I mention the under 18s and the under 23s!

This season cost, West Brom and Villa their managers and possibly Boro close season. The Villa fans and the Derby fans see the play offs as a massive achievement, but we are fed up and convinced we are going to lose!

You know what, we might just win and then go on to win the final! But actually even if we don't, I will still have loved Bielsa, Carlos and the teams. We have played football the way it should be played. We have participated in incredibly exciting games that make people want to go the games or watch us on the tele. We couldn't have a better team than Derby to motivate the coaches and the manager. You just never know.

Spanish we hear you . But for a lot of fans football is a results business . If this season ends in defeat in the play offs which form would suggest, then it would have all been for nothing . We will all start again on nil points next year with absolutely no guarantees of doing any better . In football you never know what the future brings that’s why you have to seize the opportunities when you have them . Currently it looks like we won’t seize ours which after 15 years is pretty soul destroying .

All is not lost. These games are still within our capabilities. On our day. And we need to have 3 off these. No one can match us in the league. So keep the white flag flying high. ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️👍👍👍👍.

RedHot “ currently it looks like we won’t seize ours” no play off ball has been kicked and we are playing a team we have beaten comprehensively twice this season. Massive game at Derby, let’s see how we do there before we right it all off.

Football IS a results business but, unfortunately, there aren't enough prizes for everyone to have one, sometimes you do your best and strive for better next time, no matter how disappointed and hurt you are.
