Main thing is to retain Bielsa. Clearly an emotional man so I hope - and think - he's become attached to the club and the fans. My main worry is Radz. Does he have the money to spend? He hasn't shown it so far really - not buying players anyway - and that may influence MB's position. I think he's made it clear the squad needs adding to in the final third. They are going to have to spend to get the type of striker we desperately need. I saw Dwight Gayle mentioned. Someone like him would be perfect but they cost. Undoubtedly a good man but I think Cooper is a weak link and still makes mistakes at crucial moments - but we conceded less goals than Norwich so maybe the back line is ok, if PJ stays. If funds are limited they are needed for further upfield. A striker, a fast winger, a replacement for Saiz and a combative holding midfielder who can protect the more creative players. BPF back in goal - Casilla is clearly a liability - and then start introducing some of the U23's. It's half time in the project.

Good post Manston, I hope we keep Bielsa, but not sure about Radz. I thought buying the ground back was great, but he has it in another Company name so whenever the he decides to charge it, the Club has to pay rent, so what has changed? As for transfers, since Wood was sold net / net we haven't spent anything. So I understand Bielsa needs reassurance before committing to at least another year.

Lufc : that’s it nothing just the same as all the rest, has he enough money to fund what is needed now and in the future, not sure he has, as other would have us to believe. He seems to have one or two problems, but has raised 11 million how not sure again, will it be for investment in the club, on players who knows, nothing you hear from him you can trust, and that worry’s me, he didn’t know anything about our club, all he wanted was something he could buy to make money at a later date, he made one big mistake and it’s going to cost him and the other millions, will he learn from his mistakes, who knows wait and see.

Accepted Radz is a business man! But this year shows how you maximise returns on the business, big crowds, merchandising, sponsorship etc, get success on the pitch! Why would a businessman not want to do that again and one step more to achieve the greater riches of the PL. So it’s not about whether he wants to more about whether he can do and whether he agrees with you on how to do it! Fulham spent 100 million on securing relegation. Now they have to deal with the cost of that in the championship with players no one wants to buy for what they paid for them! Accept that he wants the same as us but might not agree on how to do it!

Whitey More to the point, does Radz have the money in order to show he's learned from his mistakes? George answer? No. Plus, even more to the point, will he publicly admit he has made errors? George answer? No. There is therefore no hope, not while he's the main owner. He's recently diluted the stock for cash. Bad sign.

The performance against Derby was an absolute disgrace apart from Dallas and me boy Shack. Casilla was always a bad buy. He's allegedly goalkeeper not a fly sweeper but he doesn't know the English game, the high line, the pace and timing. Sell on free. Cooper just not good enough. Strip of captaincy and sell on free. Berardi. His tackles are so late if he was a pregnant woman he'd come on to his period in the last trimester. Sell on free, confiscate European passport. Bamford. I'd retain but with instruction that he plays reserve football and toughen up physically. He's a Championship quality sub and no more for now. He has class but something of an application problem. Pablo. Needs reassessing in the summer. Temporary tiredness or have his legs gone? I hope and believe the former.

As for Bub, I think he's off because he wants a war chest and independent of selling players to buy. Fat chance! Want him to stay but I see another Monk type impasse arising. This should leave way free for Corberan to accept promotion to main job but I'd rather Bub give us another year. I just don't think Radz has the £30m needed. We need goalkeeper, central defender, winger and 2 strikers. BPF and a returning Pearce, Coyle, O'Connor and Wilks will help but unless we get these extra 5 positional players in we won't be good enough, not even for play-off tilt.

As for the post-mortem, credit to Notts, Hess and Manston for writing so intelligently. Main problem has been Bub intransigence to drop out of form players. Cost us in George opinion approximately 10 points over the season. Another case in point is we supposedly play better against the better teams but bottle it when matters. That's fault of management combined especially Radz who I think has ripped the soul and hardness out of LUFC. I'm now where Wex was albeit prematurely last August. Spend Radz or FORK OFF!
