Thought i would share this with you not sure if it is true or just rumours. I met up with a mate on holiday who works on the Dubai stock Markets and the rumours he heard was that Radz was looking to sell another 10% of shares. The Qataris moved in to try and buy 50% to make them major shareholders and able to invest extra funds to buy players. Radz would not relinquish major shareholding so they left the talks. My friend said they would never buy 10% and be the minor player so maybe the rumour holds some truth, do not really know and prob never will.

I wonder how much they offered for the 50%? That could be the key!

Let them buy 40% (for now) keep him happy and set fair for the future.

I heard similar so wouldn't be suprised if it is true. I hope Radz realises that the fans are patiently waiting to see what he does regarding investment and activity in the Transfer Window. It really is a crucial time in his tenure.

It’s the fans club. Do right by the fans.
If radz cannot invest and hasn’t got money too move forward. I think it’s time to sell too the money men. C’mon radz do the right thing for us. 👍⚽️.

Batty, I wish you were right but the clubs aren’t the fans clubs in the vast majority of cases, they are massive commercial enterprises. We like to think they are ours but, entrance prices, shirts prices, 3 new strips in a year, last minute changes to scheduled games due to sky, football is a business and the fans have the same powers as customers in a shop, choose not to use that store and choose not to buy.

There is an alternative model, community clubs with fan based ownership but it wouldn’t produce the income streams that fans want to see unless the television money was divided in a fairer way across the leagues.
