Sorry but back to FFP rules.
Clubs can have an operating loss of 5mill per year. This can go up to 13mill a year if owners willing to bridge the gap, ie guarantee losses.
Last year we had an initial loss of 20.7mill, a figuure which means nothing really as it is not a final figure. Sales of players etc. brought that figure down to 4.3mill.
Total deficit for three seasons together, 2 Cellino and 1 Radz was 12.2mill which meant if we went up we could have paid the 18mill bonuses that were due and still be within FFP rules.
We are now into the next three year cycle which sees us carrying 3.3mil deficit. Last season we will have made a slightly higher loss due to wages. However this will be offset by sales. And by the way that 3.3 mill may be reduced after taking out infrastructure, academy and community costs if we ended up over the limit. Last season will be more or less the same as 2018/ 19 once all the figures are in, maybe a bit more but well within FFP rules.
Our revenue for 2018/ 19 was up 19% due to an increase in matchday and revenue receipts. The 5mill from Wood went straight out by the way on what we owed for transfers. Biggest increase was commercial with a 33% rise.
Costs is the interesting bit for me. Players cost only rose by 3.7mill but was a 42%rise. Wages rose from 20.7mill to 31.4mill a 52% rise. New cost was directors at 212,000 which Cellino did not claim.
We spent 25.6mill on 14 players, namely Foreshaw, Janson, Klich, Sacko, De Bock, Grot, Cibicki, Ekuban, Ideguchi, Halme, Wiedwald, Saiz, Roberts and Alioski. Only three of those left? Well four if you count Foreshaw. This in my eyes is bad business.
Our cash reserves fell from 4mill to 2.9mill also.
In my view Radz will be aiming for a loss of under 5mill so the debt is not passed to him because as i said earlier in my novel we could have spent 18mill on bonuses and still be within FFP rules 2018/ 19.so we could have spent that in this window. Radz choice not to nothing to do with FFP rules sorry to say.

Thats why i expect Roofe is going, if forecast is 25mill loss, Clarke8 + Pontus5 + roofe5 plus Wilks Ekuban and Halme brings in just over 20mill to my reckoning.

Louisb

. and when we get up from under Radz's desk, what are we supposed to be doing?

I keep hearing how Radz is not a nice fella etc. But what is your (and a few others) point?

Radz bashing has been going on for a while now but you seem to think I support Leeds United for the chairmanship. How weird. I support Leeds United for the 11 players who have stepped over the whitewash and are lucky enough to wear the white shirt I adore.

I don't support the subs bench
I don't support the manager (as good as he is)
I don't support the tea ladies

I just support Leeds United Football Club

Do you believe Liverpool fans support Fenway Sports. God no. They support LFC. They won the Champions League, not some boardroom.

Unless you are some secret multi billionaire, you can not affect anything you talk guys about. However your show of support in the stands CAN affect the 11 players on the park. You can be the 12th man, or you can be a professional moaner. Your choice.
