Dont agree we've gone backwards!

Our problem last season and I could still see it happening in our pre-season friendlies was we lost our way in front of the opposition goal. We at times don't play the obvious simple passing option in front of goal, or we are overly patient in build up play to open up defences. I lose count The amount of times I'm yelling SHOOT when that's the obvious option, we don't and pass it around and the attack breaks down. This is what frustrates me most about our play.

But I believe we have a versatile squad who are capable of another great season. Yes another CB would be nice, let's see how we are fairing at Xmas when we'll know if need to buy.

Sorry mate but got to say we don’t need to wait till Christmas I agree with everything you say but defence is far bigger problem it was not only over passing and having al of the balk but not shooting it was also them having one attack one long ball or one set piece and scoring we are so weak in defence and have gone backwards there

I fear if we wait till Xmas it may already be too late.

'If it is so obvious that without a new CB we will fail why haven't we signed one? '

Shutt Because Bielsa lives in cloud cuckoo land. He ain't called El Loco for nowt. Looks like we will play more 3-1-3-3 formation so Bielsa's need in his mind for another central defender is reduced plus he clearly doesn't get along with the big intimidating burly alpha male type but that's the kind of player we need at the back.
