Brentford! I'm sorry, but we really have to be putting team like this away . Come on guys this is Leeds United we are talking about here . There is no way Brentford will come to elland road and get anything . If we are serious about promotion we need to sweep them aside .

Agree, we should be winning nearly all our home games. Draws at home is not a good result.

Really hoping for a good home win tonight. Confidence booster, keep momentum going! I think home wins and some away draws at difficult times are the aim! I also think some times we find it harder at ER. Teams come to make it difficult and sometimes we struggle to break them down! I think the expectation and frustration in the crowd doesn’t always help the team! So we need early goal and the crowd up and we will be fine! MOT.

Teams don't fear coming to ER, most see us as their cup final. Last season we seemed to play without any fear away from home but at times got caught out at home. So far the results have mirrored last season, ever result needs to be earnt, take nothing for granted Brentford will be a hard team to beat.

Mezzer, Spot on. Where Down South is right is about the expectation, frustration and I would add nervousness of the crowd. It’s a different dynamic for the home games and that doesn’t make it easier.

Reckon it will be a tough match, but with us pulling clear when Pontus gets sent off, or when Bielsa unleashes Eddie and Costa, and we run their tiring defence ragged.

Wouldn't be surprised if the score is 4-2, with theirs being a Pontus power header from a corner and the mandatory soft penalty for a Watkins/ Canos dive, and ours being a Pontus own goal, another tap in for Bambam, another curler from Pablo/ Klich and Costa notching his first goal. And of course, if Pontus gives away a penalty, chances are either Pablo or Bambam will somehow fail to put it away. MOT.

I can understand last year, with the home results maybe not being as good as they could have been. Playing with the added pressures of what the season brought, and with the new style of play still being taught and learned. But this season there shouldn't be any reason for not winning these games if we're going for auto. The players have had a year under there belt of how to deal with these games now, and our home form needs to be imperious. We shouldn't fear anyone at home, let alone Brentford.

Not understanding why because its early doors and we are only four games in it does not matter if we drop another two points. Points matter at any time of the season especially if your two points behind sixth at the end of the season. No sorry we should be aiming to win all our home games and it does matter if we drop points. Obviously we will not win all our games but as BW said if we drop 4 points in our opening two home games the writing is on the wall. This is the time to be winning our home games and making a statement of intent. The fans will then become a lot louder than they are at present, i get frustrated sat watching us dominate games urging the ball into the net and closing my eyes when the opposition get a corner. Love the way we play but now we need to be getting the end result right, we have the attacking options so let's make the most of them. Last season was a work in progress but can see no excuses this season.
