Happy to win but have to admit that we were poor and decent opponents would have taken us apart today. Scoring goals is our major issue and Bielsa tried to address this by deploying 4 wingers, it did not work. Particularly in the second half we were overrun in midfield. The lack of midfield options on the bench today could have cost us but we were crying out to flood the midfield to gain control of the game. Bamford's shot shyness is starting to spread throughout the team. Thank god for Phillips who put his foot through the ball and aimed it at the goal.

Agree Notts. Also, I don't think we can continue to squander our chances like we have so far this season. We just don't seem to have anyone that can finish off a move with a goal. I know we started the season as favourites, and I'm not a betting man, but I just don't see us winning the league based on performances so far this season.

Which decent opponents are you alluding to? Man City? Liverpool? Or Stoke City?

I believe any of the top 6 would have found us beatable on today's performance. I will treat your comment about Liverpool etc. as the joke it was intended to be.

It wasn’t a joke. Every game no matter who you are playing is different. My point being that if we were playing Brom or Fulham today the whole dynamics of the game change. Who’s to say we wouldn’t have spanked Fulham today?!
