Whiteman, re post below, "room for improvement" that is, the big question, how much more can we improve, both the individual players and the team as a unit.
The biggest area to work on is the conversion of possession into good chances and those chances into goals
Can we achieve that improvement with the current squad or how many do we need to bring in.
Defensively we have conceded the fewest number of goals in the division.
Think we now need to see that improvement at the other end of the pitch.
There is talk Vydra is a done deal, one more attacker alongside might be enough!

We’re averaging 2 points a game. That’s promotion if we keep it up. So basically we don’t need to improve but continue our current form. If only it was that easy.

Difficult to say how good a striker is based on stats alone. If Vydra converts a higher percentage of chances than Bamford then he should score more in the current team.

Eddie looks set to go which is a shame as I thought he could get 25 goals plus for us. Vydra not as good but maybe more of a Belisa player as clearly something about Eddie dint fit for him.

We still need a cb as beradi is 1st choice cover and for me should not be near team sheet

I always thought being soft and conceding goals from few chances was our weakness and my big bare but that has changed so I think it is hard to find improvement

Maybe we could play better football like last season but I think that comes with an openness which could cost us like last year so for me no changes please.

I am quite happy at the way it is at the moment. We have a good defence and score every game so means other team has to score 2 to beat us. Not sure about Vydra. He will do a job in this division but he has not played for ages so using the Bubs slide rule will take six weeks to get him into team and season nearly over. Plus is he a PL striker which is where we want to be at end of season. Bowen or Mitrovic would be my choices but unlikely to get either so would prefer Gayle to Vydra. Eze of QPR would make more sense than Vydra if as is said we are looking for striker and 10 cover.

In fairness @bielsabud there's at least 4 or 5 who are not and never will be premiership quality currently in our squad, so to say vyds ain't top quality so leave off is a bit silly.
Vyds knows where the onion bag is and that's what we desperately need to boss this division.
Let's get up into prem and then address the issues of who is + who ain't good enough.

My opinion Chris. There are obviously players who will need replacing when we go up so why buy another. He may get a couple of goals but doubt he will get in team straight away with his lack of action. Would rather be buying some one who ia actively contributing to their present clubs. Not saying Vydra is no good silly boy just saying is it the right time to buy him. Would be an ideal buy if we stay in the championship if that's your expectations.
