Now I've slept on it and also maybe sometimes one of the more cautious dare I say it negative posters, I've given my head a wobble and except yesterday's result was always likely. Saying that we never lost and shows how well we are doing that we are upset at only taking a point. Yes it was bad or complacent to lose a 3-0 lead, but just maybe it can refocus the whole team, hopefully lesson learned. Tough long season still ahead with many more twists and turns but at least we are in there with a chance.
One thing I will say is please let's not expect big things in the January transfer market because we are cooling ourselves if we think the owner is going to splash the cash. I believe Radz won't spend, he is happy to sit and hope we have enough to take us up. He has put in what he has and I think he will hope we go up so he can then collect on his investment. Maybe we will move a couple of loan players on in Eddie and Clarke and bring a couple in. But we ain't likely to spend, FFP will we used again I predict. Any way Merry Christmas and MOT.

I agree with your sentiment Mezzer. Yesterday was purely down to mistakes from the manager and players who switched off, nothing more. There is no systematic issue with the team, for 60+ mins we were playing the best football we have all season.

I like it Mezz. All the best to you and yours too. Here’s to a six point Xmas.

Pretty much spot on with those comments Mezzer. Before the game I had it down as a draw, given our history with both baadiff and harris - bitterly disappointed to have thrown it away from 3 up. I think we all relaxed at that point, and unfortunately it would seem the players did too. Hopefully as you say, it will serve to refocus for Fulham, which feels like a mustn't lose game. Just like you should never give teams like baadiff hope in a game, we can't afford to give Fulham hope they can catch us. A draw would do to maintain that 12 point gap, but if we could grab a win that could be massive.

I fear you're right on January, even though we really need Radz to commit to promotion without a view to cashing in all or part of his holding in summer. I'd be delighted if Spurs recall Clarke as taking him back on loan always seemed a waste of a loan slot, given we had enough cover for the wings without him. As I've said before I'd not mind (in fact I would prefer) if Eddie also left as we can't really afford to have someone learning his trade as our main cover for Bambam. For me, we should also make Meslier's move permanent. Those changes would leave two match day loan spots - ideally for Gayle or similar on a loan to buy deal and decent CB cover. Any other incoming would be a bonus.

Mezzerv. the ( lack) of recruitment to the small squad last January cost Leeds promotion. to repeat the same mistake is foolhardy.

Bielsa is Radz best / last chance to get promoted. under his tenure as, no promotion this season Bielsa will leave. forget FFP like Villa and have others did and just get promotion done!

# Centre back, defensive centre midfield and a striker ( if Eddie is recalled) a MUST.

Bazooka, not advocating not spending in january, agree with you we do need to bring in players for a promotion push. Just stating in my opinion Radz will stick and the FFP will be trotted out again as to his reason why.

Agree with Mezzer 100%, I'm a betting man and will bet we don't strengthen in Jan, maybe 1 loanee if we let clarke go back, personally I would, and keep eddie, IMO.

Notts why do you blame the coach? Personally I believe it was defensive mistakes which cost us and not MB.

As previously discussed, the removal of Bamford disrupted our press from the front and we lost our focal point. The defence/ midfield needed saturating to reduce the space and in effect close down the game. Players made the mistakes but game management was poor. A mistake not a fundamental issue. Do you believe that Bielsa's decisions were correct from your seat in the stadium?

Yes I do notts. Struick was brought on for extra height. Bamford was taken off for fresh legs. You can’t have it both ways by previously saying Eddie should play and then bitch when he comes on.

Off your high horse Cork. I have not clamoured for Nketiah to play and Bamford did not look tired. Extra height yes but that should have been in a 5 at back. Why do you think we conceded 3 goals? Bad luck? Or a mixture of individual mistakes and some poor game management?
