Safety notice guys. The authorities in some countries are now advising people to avoid concerts, theatres and football stadiums to reduce the risk of getting Corona Virus.

I have decided to heed this sound advice, so I am going to watch the match in a pub absolutely rammed full of Leeds fans, hugging when we score and shouting, coughing and farting on each other at point blank range. That should do the trick.

George, making light of serious threats is a British characteristic. A coping mechanism so to speak
The Great British Tommy was famous for it during the wars. Troops from other countries didn't get how they could make light of the threats they faced, but it is just British to keep chin up and as they say, "laugh in the face of fear".

Nowt wrong with bad taste humour. It’s the Great British way! I have family out there, wearing face masks everywhere, everyday, for the last month, and even they would laugh at that!
