CC Your source for the unusual information? Jose and Spurs are in a cup final in 2 months so sacking him now seems premature, unfair and self-defeating.

A spurs site similar to this 1, another Leeds forum I on also tan it, unusual yes unheard of NO

José is going to get the bullet Georgie he has lost the dressing room me finks, arrogance personified that man.

CC Are you sure it's heard of? Which other managers in the English game have been sacked 2 months before a cup final that same manager helps them achieve? I'm not saying Jose stays for long but sacking him after the cup final and approaching Bub while he's out of contract but talking to Radz about a new one seems more logical. Perhaps Radz should encourage Bub to extend right now.

Mourinho on a whopping £15 million a year contract till 2023 so it will cost Levy a huge payout to sack him.

Dont see anything on the Spurs newsnow sites about any imminent Mourniho sacking CC so can't see it happening yet.

Probably a thing of nothing hopefully, but Paddy power has josé 2/ 1 fav next prem manager for the bullet.

And by the way george it's the league cup final, not champs or fa, would you be happy paying josé 15 a year to deliver just that because Europe is gone and they won't win league cup or fa cup.

CC I'm aware it's only the League Cup. Unsurprisingly I didn't think it was an FA Cup or European competition which is decided in May and therefore the semi finals are in April. Yes I'm aware we're in February. Would I be happy? Yes, actually. Spurs don't have the player quality like either Manchester club or Liverpool. A realistic target for them with Jose at helm is 4th.

Levy can want Bubs all he wants but if Bubs doesn't want Levy he's on a hiding to nothing. If Bielsa stays at Leeds for the rest of the season i believe it is the longest tenure he has ever had in his career which must mean something about his relationship with the club, the fans, the players, the management and the city. Bubs doesn't care about wages or transfer budget or living the high life in London. can't see him ever working with someone like Levy.

Doubt Bubs wants the prima donna's who might be reluctant to participate in his training regime either.

Spot on Alf, Bub if a man of principle, a man who is loyal, and i can see him wanting to achieve great things with our lub for the next 2 or 3 years at least.

Alf, I think bubs has now spent more time being the boss at Leeds than any other club he has managed in his career, so we must be doing something right

George, why did you get so pedantic? , of course I know that you knew what final spurs were in and of course you knew when fa cup is, my. point was it's JUST the league cup, nothing to get too excited about, and nothing that would stop a chairman sacking a manger for .

Dimatteo got sacked after winning the champs league, so go figure that 1 out.

Alf Tis already Bub's longest tenure. It was quite a few games ago.

CC Because it's a different point. Nothing to get giddy over isn't the same as underperformance requiring the sack. Also it's a different point when you refer to Di Matteo who got sacked after winning the CL. You can throw in Ranieri for the PL. That's after but you were citing a before scenario. You've changed your points and backtracked when challenged. Jose will lead out Spurs in the League Cup final.

Ok george 👍 thanks for. the. psychology lesson. Your right, you have ripped me to shreds . I am so silly for starting this thread last night .

I won't be insulting your superior intelligence anymore

How have I digressed my point with the mention of dimatteo? You said spurs won't sack him because he's in a final . I offered a different view to the same scenario . But because it wasn't suiting you, my point is then deemed silly .

Anyways that's me done on this topic now.

CC Already explained by me. You simply weren't consistent with your example. As previously stated, I can't think of any manager in the English game who got sacked before a cup final they'd already booked. So telling me about a manager who got sacked after a final is not pertinent. Is it so hard to understand?

George you do realize it's paddy power who has José at 2/ 1 fav to be next sacked not me,

CC That maybe but PP shouldn't be the determining factor, but one's own personal intelligence. George says next PL manager to get sacked shall be Fat Sam. Nuno might make it close. I can see Tottenham riding things out with Jose.
