A combination of a high Southampton press and a quick long ball made Helder Costa look good tonight.

I thought his backtracking was immense tonight. It doesn’t always go right for him but it wasn’t for a lack of effort. I’m sat on the fence with him. Some days I feel we will see the best of him if he plays regularly and other days I think wow our bench is weak when we have to look for Costa to help us out.

Costa was class early in the season first few games he was our best player

He is very quick works hard is direct and has good output in terms of assists and goals per minute. what’s not to like?

I think Bielsa is challenging Costa to show what he can do on a consistent basis. Harrison has dipped in form and that gives him a chance to show what he can do. We are building up some nice options on the wings, Poveda to come back and Summerville lurking. Feels good.

Agree feath but honest question has any at Leeds got a better conversation rate than costa? I seriously reckon it is up there with Bamford and raph, and defiantly better than Harrison’s.

Fair comment Berm, but when chances are more clear cut, we need whoever they fall to putting them away. Roberts should gave gad at least a couple of goals to his name this season, likewise Cooper should have got at least one at Wolves.
