Shall make a George predo. That's an r in predo gents. I actually am in 2 minds whether I want this to come true but I believe it will in the summer. Raph moves to wrong side of Pennines in the summer for the following price. Dan James tother way plus we receive £60m or thereabouts. Cons of the deal are loss of Raph and they get him. Pros are proceeds will assist expansion of ER. Money talks guys and I'm sensing Deco is smelling Mancunian money. Maybe it means we refurb stadium in the style of Art Deco?

I predict and hope that Raphinia will stay a 2nd season with Leeds and Radz holding firm.

Bang average Harry Maguire cost Man. U £80 million and Raphinia will be worth well in excess of this figure in 12 months time.

Dan James is decent but Leeds really should be seeking better players than him now.

For Leeds to really move to much higher levels in income streams a new stadium is much more likely to achieve this than simply an upgrade of ER.

Strongly believe that a new Leeds United stadium will happen under the new stadium building considerable expertise of Marathe and the 49ers along with Radz.

George seriously doubt your pedo, my predickie is that Raphinha will be kept at Elland Rd for at least another season. As Baz has alluded to, his value will increase with another season. My wish is that Radz has the foresight to to see that he is a very important building block to a near future formidable Leeds United that has the ambition and desire to be challenging for the top.
The expansion of Elland Rd or a new stadium will come in due time, to fund future building you don’t sell your best players.

Baz I can see a move to a new stadium eventually but believe Radz will play it safe first by expanding ER with the permission of Leeds City Council. The Gaviscon badge affair will still be in Radz' mind. He won't want to score another own goal. I see ER adding on another 10-12k seats before a move elsewhere in the mid 2040s. Leeds fans adore ER. They won't like moving so close after the centenary and even if it is to a new 70,000 seater stadium.

OP Disagree. Raph true value after completing a successful season is probably around the £50m mark. It's accepted Rennes sold him cheap so his sale price should have probably been closer to £25m. A doubling of his value is a reasonable increase now he's proven himself instantly in the PL. If you factor in an extra £25m increase for another successful season, you get £75m. I believe this will be his sale price. If you wait another season, he may not perform as brilliantly and then another year is knocked off his contract lowering his resale value. I'm not advocating a sale but with ER expansion plans looming, I can see us cashing in but only for the right price which is £75m. In other words, Dan James plus £60-62m.

I wouldn't want to lose him George but that deal gives us a replacement (admittedly not as good) and cash to buy a solid LB like Perraud as well as a De Paul type player and have cash in the bank to put towards another top notch player.

i said similar a few days ago, I think it boils down to a few things. A. Does that 60m and James bid come in. B. Does Raphinha get his head turned truly? If he does then he does have to go. If he's a pro and rolls with either situation would absolutely not mind him staying in the slightest even if fairly big money came in.

Lets say that gives 60m + whatever investment radz and 49ers want to add to that for transfers and wages. Try and sell Costa and Roberts (think if we got between 15-20m combined for the pair good business) , Alioski to be released (thanks for the good games and battling qualities/ madness Alioski) . New five year contract for Meslier (he's already down to a two year deal) . Casilla out (any takers) . Bring in an experienced prem keeper as back up. Romero, Adrian and Begovic all out of contract as things stand.

New natural left back (Douglas will also officially expire although he's been at Blackburn really) . Huggins is clearly rated came on vs arsenal and didn't look bad, needs more exposure tho, don't think he's likely to make lb his own but could be surprised. Maybe Antonee Robinson if Fulham go down. Rb i think is sorted with Ayling (expect Drameh to get some games near end of the season, see how near he is, expect him to be main rb backup next season) . Leif Davis? either give him an extended run or cut him.

Mid is a hard one, feel we could use two, to backup Phillips role and to replace Pablo role. Like Drameh situ would really like to see if by some dead rubbers we can solve one in house (Jenkins, Shackleton, etc) We'll also have the likes of Mccalmont, Gotts, and Bogusz to evaluate on return from loans (admittedly doesn't sound like they've made big steps but you never know) . Feel, we'll sign at least one cdm (would like White for the right price) or cam.

Wing James might come in if raph goes although if as I hope we sell costa we could be a bit thin (Poveda/ Summerville I hope to get some chances in end of season) . If not up to it a big, big fan of Ryan Kent. Any money spent has to account for making Jack's deal permanent too.

Forwards, Paddy. stays. Gelhardt and Greenwood need a chance somewhere end of this season to prove they might be adequate backups next year (we've actually been rather fortunate Paddy misses so few games, doesn't get talked about enough) . I think Edmondson sadly looks like he won't make it after initially promising. Feel ultimately we should be looking for something here too.

Ideally/ Likely out: Casilla, Alioski, Douglas, O'Kane, Roberts, Costa, Bouy, Berardi (thanks bera)

Maybe: Raph, for a very big bid.

In Ideally: Prem experienced backup keeper, natural leftback. CDM and/ or CAM. James in Raph part exchange only situ, Another winger if sells costa. Backup striker.

contracts: new deal for Meslier i feel is a must.

Raph has been shoveled out of his two previous clubs, accordingly to him disrespectfully and at a very devalued price. Maybe the fella just wants to play for a club who respect him and want to hold on to him and appreciate his footballing talents. I hope we don’t shovel him out too, has anybody thought that he just might want to stay at a club who loves him and wouldn’t dream of letting him go, especially to to pay for a new stand! Incomprehensible!

If we have any ambition to return to being an elite English club again then we should not even think about selling players like Raph, even for silly money. I trust Radz to do the right thing and will only accept it if the player himself forces a move, which would be very sad.
