Dyche is running scared, he’s probably hoping the season will be annulled!
Getting his games postponed is not going to keep Burnley up this season.

Makes you question there integrity, best player at Afcon, and Woods replacement still not signed, against a relegation rival
But if others do it and prem don't stop it many more will.

Don’t hate the player, hate the game. The rules are there for them to be abused unfortunately. The rules should of been simple. All games to be played regardless. Every team in the premier league has academy’s. If players break the rules and catch c.v. then they and there team should suffer as a consequence of having to field a weakened team, not the opponent having to squeeze a match in at a latter date.

The Bundesliga have been very strict with their rules, it’s only assessed by positive cv cases not with injuries etc etc. The managers are all going to abuse or use this situation to their own benefits. The rules must be made tighter before it all gets out of control.
You can just see a team like Burnley could be 10 games behind everyone else. How are they going to fit all those games in? Dyche is deliberately trying to disrupt the league because he knows Burnley are heading to the Championship.

The thing that got me is that they have been allowed to postpone as they only had ten first team players fit!?!? Wtf? We have 9 first team players injured! Is a 15 year old only considered a first team player if it’s Leeds! I thought the EFL were corrupt, but the PL are taking them to a photo finish!

The postponement of Burnley’s match v Leicester, and now tonight’s rescheduled fixture v Watford due to injuries and c.v. at Burnley does seem a little questionable.

However, it seems a little unfair for some podcasters etc to suggest these postponements, combined with other affecting that club are symptomatic of a general approach by Dyche and others there to dodge games until they’re better able to compete. The originally scheduled fixture v Watford and another home game v Everton, plus their away tie v Villa were called off at the request of their opponents, and the home fixture v Spurs was called off by the ref on the day due to snow. Even if they do bring in new signings, Burnley’s survival would seem unlikely to be helped by the resultant fixture pile-up.

Clu it’s true not all the games were from Dyche! s request, but it pretty blatant he’s using this particular fixture postponement for his teams advantage, no different from Arsenal abusing this situation with their game against Spurs. My point is though if this isn’t regulated correctly very soon there’s going to be an enormous fixture congestion which could end up being unfair to some teams who are not abusing this rule. Thé EPL need to enforce stricter rules now.

So Martinez what’s Togo back and finish off where he left off at crummy Everton good luck with that, but what dose Radz think about trying to bring in a manager who in love with another team bloom good job he didn’t get his man. Come on man there is only one man fit to do the job if MB leaves get him before Man poo do.

OP - I wasn’t disagreeing re the latest machinations by Burnley/ the Prem - merely adding that others elsewhere have incorrectly suggested Dyche and co have chosen to postpone all of their 5 outstanding fixtures - and that having such a backlog may actually prove to be disadvantageous even with Cornet and any new signings playing for them.

On the wider point, I also agree that the Prem has handled the situation poorly - other top European leagues seem to have been far stricter.
