I read with interest the for and against camps re the board. I can see all sides to the argument fellas but don't forget what/ who went before. Radz has done most things wisely for the club (and yes I know, for him also but) he put his money in the club (he didn't have to) and as anyone will know if you own or run a company there are times when decisions have to be made. Not always black and white. Not always right or wrong and as with Life no one will give you a Crystal Ball. You have to make a decision and live with it.
I am sure if a seer had told him "if you do not spend you will be relegated" then his hand may well have gone straight to his pocket however he (and thousands of us) never foresaw the twists and turns this season has thrown at us, so as I still love MB for all he did for this club so should I also respect Radz for all he has done. Keep the faith, pull together and let's see what the weekend (or even Thursday) brings.

Sorry but by beginning of January window no one especially Radz should have needed a Crystal ball to see the great risk to LUFC premier league status.

Radz and co took an enormous risk not strengthening in Jan and its backfired big time.

Bookies have Leeds as odds on favourites for R and this was always on the cards imo

2 of the most pivotal games

Leeds 2 vs Brentford 2
( 3 Leeds players injured during the game then missing for most of the rest of the season)

Leeds 0 vs Newcastle 1
( Newcastle dreadful at the time, hadn't won away from home all season

Bielsa failed tactic of DJ up front, brought on ridiculously as usual Roberts before Gelhardt, gave Joffy just 10 minutes)

Great post Leodis!

It was pretty obvious we would struggle the moment the transfer window closed at the start of the season.

I think the protest chanting should not have been done in the ground, I doesn’t do well for moral.
If fans want to protest against Radz they should do it outside our ground.
If we are relegated I imagine there will be a certain amount of condemnation heading Radz way.
I think there has been some bad decision making, regards to recruitment and also in my estimation, bad timing of Bielsa’s sacking, if they wanted to get rid they should have waited to the end of this season.
Of course mistakes can be made, Radz is only human but what he does next whether we are relegated or stay up, will be very important in the direction the club will take.
I don’t think he needs to guess as to whether the fans are happy, it would be pretty obvious when you’re fighting a relegation battle. Having so many injuries is difficult to forecast, but there was a opportunity to bring in one or two players during the January transfer window. Maybe he regrets that now who knows.

Transfers have been abysmally poor, 1 or 2 loans would of helped IMO.

Rads has, without doubt, done a great job for Leeds United. He has been a breath of fresh air versus previous owners. Unfortunately, in a similar way to Bielsa, the memories of him will be slightly tarnished by experiences, and lack of definite action this season.
I’m happy to give him another shot, but would much rather it was done, with Bielsa, and a big spoonful of hindsight! And a bigger bag of cash too!
It’s very easy to be distracted with current volatile passion and disappointment, and forget the bandits, crooks and criminals who came before over the last 25years!

On the contrary OP I believe it was the ideal place for it to be done

The 9'ers had a big contingent there Sunday, so if this was a joint decision (lack of transfers ) then they also now know what us fans think . And for the future it let's owners know we will only take it for so long

The support was very good yesterday for the team, so it cannot be said that the chants negated the teams efforts .

I not saying anything derogatory about Bubs here, but you think that bubs should not have been sacked as it was too late in season

Well look at burnley, they have gotten the bounce and they went later than us .

Obviously Radz thought he could get a bounce also seeing as his earlier decision has now totally backfired.

Unless you are Inside Elland Road. Unless you are inside the Boardroom, you do not know the full truth, the twists and turns. Who said what to who and why?
Maybe the reason we did not get who we wanted in Jan was all Radz fault, then again; was it Bielsas?

10.) 16 May 2022
16 May 2022 18:02:57
Maybe we should have bought in Dele Ali and Van de Beek?
Ok I’m being sarcastic but it’s notoriously difficult to get in the right players in January.

Chris I understand the manager bounce but I think fans and players alike were a little shocked by the timing. Not only that we were always likely to score with Bielsa against certain teams and I think it was a big call for JM, are we that much better defensively? We also haven’t created many goal opportunities, although it did appear to be a little more like Bielsa ball the way we played against Brighton in the second half. JM will be wise to adopt the same against Brentford.
I do believe we would have won those games against Palace, Southampton and Brighton.

That would of put us comfortably in the clear.
It makes me very sad that we never got the chance to see what Bielsa could have done with better quality of players.
We will never know now.

Chris Chris great post how many managers would still be in a job after so many losses he is to blame for not doing it sooner Club comes before manager no matter what they did in the past . MB did it his way would not change anything would not change the players or use others that he had as you say look at others and if he had got in 3,4 players like Newcastle did then probably he would have still been in job.

Who said what + when?

Us common folk will never know .

Corky Oh how I would love to know the inside story on Delli Ali. So much potential, wasted.

Panic set in OP, and maybe, just maybe Radz was told by the 9"ers that bubs time was up

I totally agree with you, in respects of bubs and what might have been with a better calibre of player .
Christ we can never forget some of the football we played under him was incredible .

That’s just it lads, as you say. People make assumptions based on media tripe, and talk in the stands, but the facts never come out. At the end of the day, we will never know who really is to blame for this season. Simple facts. Sad, but true.

We all have got to ask could Mr bie lsa handle really top top players iam not sure but I loved the Mr bielsa but we will never know if could handle the quality quality players it's a shame how it all ended with no proper send of pabs should have been made assistant manager mot roll on Thursday.

Baz Radz simply listened to Bub who didn't want anyone in. Bub will have thought Orta would only get him another expensive dud. We should have recruited in the summer of last year but Radz sensing a sale to the 49ers chose not to invest to maximize his money and relying on Bub for league stability. Yet most on here know in the EPL you want to stand still, you must spend. All members of management played their role in our demise and forthcoming relegation.

21.) 17 May 2022
17 May 2022 08:47:16
George - apparently 49ers Enterprises also contributed financially towards last summer’s limited investment, so the decision not to make further investment in the squad was not just made by Radz - so the narrative that he kept his hands in his pockets to maximise his money ahead of a sale is a false one.

22.) 17 May 2022
17 May 2022 16:27:59
Cluey Hardly. You've just indicated there was an agreement going forward! Everyone knew their role. 49ers relied on Radz who relied on Bub. Bub got it wrong. Simples.
