For those saying everything had gone quiet on the stadium plans, the square ball interview with Angus Kinnear provided an update.

They’ve been busy last season working with architects etc to draw up plans and this year will be finalising work on financing the project and commencing the planning process with Leeds City Council. Currently he expects building work to commence in 2024/ 25 and to take around 2 years to complete.

Radz actually mentioned it in his last interview too.
£100mill investment confirmed, expanding capacity to 55k, generating an annual stadium revenue of £255million, which will put us in the top 8 in the U. K. with regard to revenue creation. A smart move, which will set our stall out for continued future growth!

Let's hope that stadium revenue isn't based on just ticket prices as for 55000 fans that would mean it will be £244 per ticket. Whatever Kinnear has been sprinkling on his cornflakes, I want some!

Brighty - I think Radz meant that the rise in stadium revenue due to an increase in capacity to 55,000 would help bring TOTAL annual revenue above £250m.

Alf - hopefully that clarification helps re your point on ticket prices. Kinnear said later in his interview that the intention was that ticket prices would remain around the same level for normal fans, assisted by an increase in corporate hospitality facilities made available within the new West Stand.

Indeed Clu. either that or the Leeds board doing their usual trick of blowing smoke up our backsides with some nonsense propaganda.

Absolutely Alf, Kinnear is a Yes man and a professional blower of smoke up the areshole. I believe little in what he says.
