IMO, we need a dictatorship at Elland Rd, not a democracy. A coach like red nose or van Gaal ( best in the world IMO) do not care if the players like them or agree with them. I have coached at various levels ( all amateur and mainly youth ) and although I would never win a popularity contest, the team has done well. often the team bonds in their dislike of me! But at the end of the season, every player realises I did what I did for the team, not for myself. Like a lot of dim witted parents these days. they should stop trying to be their teenage monsters best friend and concentrate on being the parent. The problem is these overpaid average ability professionals and their massive egos. Hate to say it but the good youth players coming through need to be told what to do, not asked. JMO.

Although I totally agree with you OEC, I can't see any top coaches being interested in coming our way for a while yet.
Rumour as it BMD and MC get on ok and if BMD still wants his job after the clearout it's his.
If we do change the manager Gus Poyet seems to get the best out of his players and said his future at wonderland is uncertain ;)

Agree

As I have said before Poyet hasn't done particularly well at Sunderland. Also, bringing back former players etc is not usually successful.
