I'm no coach or anything so just wondering why at 3-1 down you would take your best striker off and replace him with a defender?

The game was over. Better to try stop the rot and try preserve goal difference which could be crucial in our relegation battle!

The score was actually 2-1 when Sharp was substituted for Cooper. The main reason for the change was because our other central defender was having an early bath. Other than the cross that resulted in the OG, Sharp hardly had a kick.
