Hi all mighty Leeds fans. I was at the game yesterday and the attendance was given as 23, 800 all the media are now saying 18, 698. Have had lively debate in my local and the papers, Telegraph, Sun etc give the lower figure. Can anyone shed any light?

Can't be sure but I think that was Wednesday night's figure v Charlton.

Even BBC sport give the attendance as 18,000

{Ed003's Note - Radio Lancs gave it just under 24k when I had the misfortune of listening to the commentary :'( .}

If it's under a certain amount football clubs get a tax rebate.
