Thank you Swansea, Next up Rotherham which we should win and Norwich play Sheff Utd so more gaps opening. Would rather Norwich win and we open a 7 point gap to third place then Norwich lose to Brom. Then we beat Norwich and it will all be looking better. onwards and upwards.

1.) 20 Jan 2019 00:30:21
Oh well, that’s sorted then!

2.) 20 Jan 2019 11:29:13
Easy, easy, easy, Naaaaarwich are one of the teams that have gone off crying to the FL btw. I hope we remind them that WE ARE LEEDS.

3.) 20 Jan 2019 11:34:54
Lol. I hope your so big! 🤞.

4.) 20 Jan 2019 12:01:52
Sorry meant Middlesbrough lose to Brom.

5.) 20 Jan 2019 13:36:07
BIGE, you confuse me old bean. I am praying we beat Rotherham and SU, Norwich, Brom and Boro all draw with each other relentlessly over the next three weeks. I want both sides dropping 2 rather than either winning 1. That's where the gaps will come from, subject to Us winning of course. Norwich and Sheff next weekend, followed by us an Norwich a week later is a critical time. I hope this spyware crap hasn't turned Bielsa's head. We looked superb against Derby, but the mood was a world away at Stoke. Unpredictable times.

6.) 20 Jan 2019 14:04:41
Dropping 2,rather than winning 3 that should read. Sunday drinking and speed typing, not ideal.

7.) 22 Jan 2019 11:58:12
Lufc if Norwich beat SU then it opens a bigger gap between top two and third with them all having to come to ER. I am looking at the top two going up, would love to go up as champions but would love it just as much to go up in second place.

24 Dec 2018 16:21:32
Bit late posting this but was in no state yesterday to be putting sentences together and just finished work but what a result. Think we just moved up to the next level. JCs head must be in the clouds right now love the lad. Thank you Mr Cellino for bringing such talent to the club, and Shackleton. Not an ideal game to blood Lief in, he must have been crapping it, but fair play he put in a shift. Never say die attitude is fantastic. All that's left to say is Merry Christmas to all my readers, hope you all have a great one. Onwards and upwards.

1.) 25 Dec 2018 03:44:12
Good post Bige.

2.) 25 Dec 2018 06:23:26
Have a blue yellow and white Christmas everyone, and yes I've checked the league tables, guess what? We're Leeds United, we're top of the league.

3.) 25 Dec 2018 09:20:03
Same to you and all the other fans on site whilst listening to bielsa rhapsody on repeat happy christmas.

Was working yesterday so could not get to the match but watched it last night through my beer goggles and again this morning. Thought Brentford were the best we have met this season, caused us a lot of problems. Ref certainly a Brentford fan, needs to dropped to lower leagues, very poor.

Although once again some of our players were off their game, maybe need a rest, we more than held our own and i think if the ref had let the game flow we would have seen us win that one. Third not a bad place to be after all our injuries and in a way i am glad Ayling gets to have a rest now as well.

Said before we are missing Pablo and Roofe up front to get the goals flowing again. If the ref had his glasses on and spotted the dive we would have won 1-0 so not downbeat over the result, or performance. these things happen. Think we are a top three team and deserve to be and come end of season will expect us to still be up there.

West Brom for me are the team to beat, dodgy defence but score for fun. Blunts and Bees will drop away but will be thereabouts for a play off position. Very close so far as Forest have shown by jumping into the play off position. Think the team who wins it will be the first one to get 5 points ahead over the winter.

If we sign two or three players in Jan, which we have the money for, think that could be us. Always positive because no point being negative when you are in the top three. Think the young lads coming through and getting game time will be a big help this season. Onwards and upwards.

Whats up ed running out of things to put on the rumours page.

{Ed001's Note - it is Ed033 for some reason he doesn't seem to understand the difference between rumours and banter. He keeps doing this just to keep the page ticking over when it does nothing bar making a mess.}

2.) 07 Oct 2018 14:59:27
Very positive, BIGE, like it!

3.) 08 Oct 2018 10:44:46
Great post Bige. Yours are always a good read pal!

27 Aug 2018 10:46:43
According to Hay Bielsa wants premier midfielder in before Friday to cover for Saiz. Anyone any ideas who that could be.

1.) 27 Aug 2018 14:15:22
Izzy Brown's a name doing the rounds and Powell from Wigan.

2.) 27 Aug 2018 17:58:23
That would be good signing.

3.) 27 Aug 2018 21:50:46
I was thinking Izzy, bielsa type of player.

09 Jul 2018 14:02:14
Looks like the Vydra deal is off, surprise surprise. Wages a problem so it seems. Come on Jerry aaaaaagh

1.) 09 Jul 2018 16:43:21
I'm happy about that. Always too expensive. Abel, Wilson and 2 decent central defenders and I'm good.

2.) 09 Jul 2018 17:27:58
Its good to dream george.

3.) 09 Jul 2018 18:12:20
George, Abel Hernandez unlikely to sign for Leeds. He will be likely playing for CSK in Russia.

4.) 09 Jul 2018 20:57:50
It is Bige because if you don't you'll never make a dream come true

Have a good feeling about tonights games, reckon we will be back on top when its over. We need to beat Swansea which is doable. Middlesbrough need to take something from from SU game which is doable. Preston i think will be looking forward to playing Norwich, they are on a good run and imo are a good team who play good football. Think Norwich might slip up tonight. Heres hoping onwards and upwards.

1.) 13 Feb 2019 10:59:30
Hoping with you bige.

2.) 13 Feb 2019 11:44:48
I certainly agree with the first part, good feeling about our game tonight. Think it’s the kind of game where we should thrive and have the chance to play, but we need to nail some of those opportunities.

03 Feb 2019 18:31:11
Me wheels are coming off. Was not expecting that scoreline. Defense really poor but attack not so clever either. Like Roofe but not the answer up front. and i hope Bamford stays fit and gets a run out. Browne also scoring again for U23s so hope Bielsa thinks he is fit enough now, both lads need to start earning their wages now. Think we need KP back in his holding role. Too many off their game so hopefully that will not happen again. Still in second and a little gap to third and now SU go into freefall this month, and we go into March 6 points clear of third. We need to get something from Middlesbrough now and that will not be easy. Please stop giving our team away 3 days early Bub, it don't help.

1.) 03 Feb 2019 19:49:43
Well said Bige. Only one thing mate. It’s been pretty easy to guess the Leeds lineup each week if you think about it.
One more point. Ayling, for nearly all season, is one of the worst right backs in the league. And with Harrison in front of him we are struggling even more so. It’s time for others in them roles be it shacks Clarke Beradi shortly fit or Stephens. The right side is piss poor and has to be improved.

2.) 03 Feb 2019 20:18:15
Totally agree Gents, we need Bamford and Brown in the squad next week. We have got to put more of our chances away. Let's not get too down We are right there for automatic and if and I say if, we can put another good run together we can be in the top two. MOT.

3.) 03 Feb 2019 21:50:46
Got to agree Cork right side is poor, never rated Harrison and Ayling has been horrendous. For me Coyle could have done a job and should not be out on loan. With Shacks in front of him would be 100% better.

29 Jan 2019 10:20:33
Well January turned out better than i thought. Said back in November the team that ends Jan with a five point lead will be the one that goes up and F##K me that's us with a six point gap to third. Beat Norwich next game and will be hard for any one from third downwards to catch us. All play each other, SU especially have some tough games coming up. If only we could get a couple more signings in or have a guaranteed comeback for Brown and Bamford would settle my nerves a bit. can't wait for Norwich game going to be manic when we win. Onwards and upwards.

1.) 29 Jan 2019 11:31:02
That's the total lack of any concern from me BIGE. We have so much talent waiting to return coupled with the likes of McCalmont and friends, the future looks good, no matter who comes on board.

2.) 29 Jan 2019 17:14:29
did you expect us to lose them all BIGE or are you taking other teams results into account when you say Jan was better than expected?

3.) 29 Jan 2019 22:04:28
No Alf i just thought that 2nd and 3rd would be closer to us. Did not expect us to be 3 points in front of Norwich which will soon be 6.Think we will go further in front in Feb, and i always take the chasing packs fixtures into account, that's why i do not worry when we drop points. We will get at least 12 points in Feb which will do.

22 Jan 2019 11:48:23
Just looked at all the championship deals done so far and apart from Kiko none really stand out. Norwood a good buy for SU but rest nothing special. Why would you bring Cole in yes lot of experience but doubt if he has any passion left and probably be on good money. Naive management there i think.

1.) 22 Jan 2019 13:20:03
Guys, am I in the minority? I don't actually want us to buy anyone in the January transfer window

Looking back at preseason, it seemed to take Biesla 6-8 weeks to get Heckingbottom's team of misfirers into the slick outfit that played Stoke on the first day of the season
In my naïve thinking then, won't that be the same for any new recruit? So End of March before then can contribute. if they are able to work at Bieslas levels/ standards

wouldn't it be more prudent to "loan to buy" anyone at this stage. Not risking funds that will be needed in the summer, whether its for Premiership recruitment or a further Championship season.

2.) 22 Jan 2019 15:01:50
So you don't think Bowen and Mactomeney on loan would help us then.

3.) 22 Jan 2019 17:51:49
I would love either/ both of them. However I doubt Hull will do us a loan-to-buy on Jarrod Bowen, and although Scott McTominay could be a good shout for a 6 month loan, I doubt the scum would let us buy one of their best young talents. No doubt they will sell him to Leicester/ Palace/ Southampton or some one of that ilk, but never Leeds. They are still smarting over wee Gordon.

4.) 22 Jan 2019 17:54:21
Is that Jim Bowen lovely smashing super great.

5.) 22 Jan 2019 18:00:30
Axe, surely it would be easier to integrate one or two.

6.) 22 Jan 2019 20:02:07
Axa, it would seem that we are somewhat struggling having lost four, I know that we have some due to return but feel we need to bring in two or three to make sure we cover any more injuries or bands, they will need to be able to play in PL which may save us money buying now rather then waiting then buying when we are there. My opinion ONLY.

7.) 22 Jan 2019 20:34:07
AL, Whiteman.

I have no doubt that Biesla can integrate talented and committed player in to his structures. I am just unsure of the timescales. Had he bought on 1st January then he could have had an extra 4 weeks to mould them. I think we have waited too long.

8.) 22 Jan 2019 20:36:55
Pragmatically. I would not be adverse to selling Clarke, as long as we got a couple of premier quality players in return, and enough money to buy Bowen

After all. Some other mug can pay his wages for 3 years and we can buy back a 20yo baller on the cheap. I would prefer Delph and Milner for next season, to guide Leeds to a mid table finish.

16 Jan 2019 10:51:39
Crystal Palace were fined by the PL when Cardiffs line up was leaked before a match so this should set the precedent and give guidance to the EFL. anything more and it should be challenged. As i said earlier if they are so against it then why is there not a specific rule with fixed penalties regarding it.

1.) 16 Jan 2019 12:20:06
Oops, I just posted something similar on the rumours page.

2.) 16 Jan 2019 13:50:35
Just glad i posted before you or i would be in trouble for spying and Jenas would be wanting me to wear a Man U shirt.

He is not what you would call an energetic player but his awareness and passing is very good and he can pop up with a goal. Not great in the tackle but when he has the ball he uses it well. Honestly do not think he is giving 100% in U23 games and sure he would be able to pick the pace up in first team. Think he would be good coming off the bench as different to what we have.

Might be a bit of a silver lining. No one has played against Brown and Bamford so may surprise a few of them. Shacks is worth a second half in any game.

Thought Dallas had a good half, playing with passion and getting forward. Gotts again had a top game. Brown looks ready to me at just the right time. Diaz defended well, stood in the way of a point blank rocket, that must have hurt, some good passing from him as well. Mcalmont improved as the game went on. Stevens for me is a great talent. A lot of his work goes unnoticed and he showed great composure for his goal. BPF not too impressed with him, positioning and use of the ball erratic needs to improve if he wants his first team spot back, hope he is not sulking.
