Watched a half hour of highlights
goals and assists of Rodrigo de Paul and he looks to be twice as good as Saiz . technically brilliant but with more pace, power and end product.

If Leeds can sign him it would be a major coup.

Still feel we need to sign another striker.

It now really looks like QSI are really NOW finally making their move on Leeds United now that Premier League status has been achieved.

Very recently the extremely reputable, credible and reliable Financial Times reported that QSI were moving in on Leeds United with a considerable investment share in Leeds United

And yesterday a very good freelance journalist Connor on his own live you tube show reported with photos from his sources Radz and QSI in meeting also yesterday at an alfresco restaurant in Corsica.

Also that the new Adidas Kit Deal is having Qatar Airways on the shirt with QSI firmly behind that. This would explain why there has been a considerable delay in actually revealing the new Adidas shirt to the fans.

QSI investment in Leeds United is happening folks ( very) sooner or later!

I tend to agree Baz, there are certain things that point to upcoming activity. I also read that we’ve made a signing, but are keeping it hushed until the kit launch is finalised. Fingers crossed!

2.) 06 Aug 2020 17:56:28
Fingers crossed indeed Brighty πŸ‘.

3.) 06 Aug 2020 21:38:46
I’ll believe it when it happens.

4.) 06 Aug 2020 23:23:16
Who is it JKA haha.

5.) 07 Aug 2020 00:10:31
It’s me Canada, but shush! Say nowt!

6.) 07 Aug 2020 10:38:20
It's just between us Bright.

27 Feb 2020 00:19:04
Anyone know how long JKA is out for with his muscular problem.

1.) 27 Feb 2020 14:03:43
I don't think even the medical team at ER know that yet.

21 Feb 2020 12:42:01
All remaining 13 games are vital, but just think this Reading game is even more important. win it 2-0.

2 wins in a row, 7 points from 9.2 clean sheets in a row.

building positive promotion momentum.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 21 Feb 2020 12:59:07
completely agree. But extend that to the next 4 games. They are all winnable on paper and vital points that we can accrue to hopefully open up the gap a bit.

2.) 21 Feb 2020 20:12:22
Totally agree with both posts! It’s the perfect time to be stringing a good run together!

3.) 21 Feb 2020 22:48:56
If we can manage to win the next four AND KP is able to avoid a further 3 yellow cards in those fixtures, we could go into the tough games v Baadiff and Fulham quite handily placed for the final straight.

Fulham have an incredibly tough run-in. 8 of their last 12 games are against teams ranked above the 12th placed Tups, with whom they've drawn tonight - and only 1 is against a team in the bottom 8.

After QPR tomorrow, the florists remaining fixtures include 4 of the bottom 8, but the rest are in the top 13.

Brentford have 5 of the bottom 8 to face but also 6 in the top half of the table.

We are yet to face 7 of the bottom 8 and 5 in the top half.

4.) 22 Feb 2020 08:01:24
Bazoooka is your account under cyber attack from the ruskies?

5.) 22 Feb 2020 10:00:43
Lol. Taddy White . maybe. or maybe I had a sneaky swig of Brighty's glass half FULL of John. Smith's or Baby Cham when he wasn't looking.

My opinions of Radz and Orta haven't really changed though. but they have been put to one side. just 100 % fully focussed now on the matches and promotion momentum please God . MOT.

6.) 22 Feb 2020 11:31:10
Be careful Baza don’t mention momentum it didn’t do comrade corbynoff any good last year πŸ˜‚.

7.) 23 Feb 2020 08:42:36
Nice one Baz! πŸ‘πŸ»βœŠπŸ»πŸ‘πŸ».
I do expect my booze to be returned in time for celebrations tho!

20 Feb 2020 15:03:23
Have seen reports that Leeds are obliged to sign Meslier for Β£5 million if they go up or when he plays 10 first team game .

If so can now see why Kiko hasn't been dropped.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 20 Feb 2020 17:08:58
We should be signing him anyway! Would hate to see us lose someone as clearly talented as he is!

2.) 20 Feb 2020 18:59:57
Agreed Brighty.

Leeds most IMPORTANT win so far and probably best performance of the season so far. Huge confidence booster.

We look more solid defensively and after these past 2 games of out playing top EPL teams in Arsenal and Everton and picking up 4 points out of six ( could have been six points out of six ) I am definitely looking up the table again.

Marcelo Bielsa FIFA Coach of the Year 2020 nominee πŸ’œ.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 28 Nov 2020 20:02:37
Agreed, best win of the season, not won there since fist game when we were promoted under Wilko. Made the weekend. UTW.

2.) 28 Nov 2020 20:08:58
Spot on Vid. Bielsa proving what a wonderful coach he is πŸ’˜.

3.) 28 Nov 2020 20:14:11
Philips awesome passing today, Southgate in the crowd must wish a few more leeds players were English.

4.) 28 Nov 2020 20:19:38
That was probably Philips best ever game Martyn. Just seemed to find so much space and sublime passing as you say . Made some crucial tackles as well. The lad keeps on improving and other than being slow to get back a few times can't really fault that showing.

5.) 28 Nov 2020 20:54:54
Just a question, should we be playing both strikers from start for no other reason but to double our chances of scoring, because it really is so so frustrating that even though we are bossing games we are still very much open to a set piece and a quick break totally against the run of play,

So many positives tonight, kalvo, luke, jack, Raph, but we were still in fear of being hit on the counter

I am still in awe of the transition we have made from champs to prem, Alaw and so so proud of our club πŸ‘.

6.) 28 Nov 2020 22:17:54
KP crucial to clean sheet, perhaps best ever performance. Bielsa has made some minor tactical tweaks since the double 4-1 losses. Impressed with Alioski.

28 Nov 2020 19:29:34
Get in

Huge huge huge confidence building win and 3 points

Great entertaining match

Loving these clean sheets.

28 Nov 2020 18:26:17

Playing well again but with the same wastefulness in front of goal. This is where we miss Pablo who comes up with big goals and certainly knows how to score.

Rodrigo needs to come on for Ayling . Costa for Harrison

Messier great

Why was there no VAR referral for the handball.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 28 Nov 2020 18:36:45
Because it was for us!

2.) 28 Nov 2020 18:43:07
Yes Canada and it stinks!

3.) 28 Nov 2020 19:49:15
And it wasn’t a handball as long as my arse still has one hole in it. I knew this would come up. Never a handball, in any mans eyes. Simple.

27 Nov 2020 16:58:47
Predictions for tomorrow's game πŸ€”

Head really says a score draw 1 -1

but instead I am going for a Leeds away win

with the lads getting much more of their shots on target!

Everton 1
vs Leeds 3 Bamford, Rodrigo, Raphina.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 27 Nov 2020 22:04:04
Feeling 2-1 to Leeds.

2.) 28 Nov 2020 09:06:25
Not sure about this one.
They pretty handy going forward.
After watching them switch off in second half against Fulham. I’m happy for them to take the lead. In fact I’d prefer they went in at half time 1-0 or 2-1 up because I think we can then beat them.
So 2-1 or 3-2 for me but could be 1-0 or 2-0 as well.
Def not 4-0 though.
1–1 or 2-2 worth a bet I reckon.

3.) 28 Nov 2020 11:39:36
not sure aus personally i'd prefer 0-4 to us at half time.

4.) 28 Nov 2020 13:33:45
Me too πŸ‘.

26 Nov 2020 14:42:15
Pablo, Llorente or Shackleton still annoyingly out injured vs Everton.

The Everton game is another game we really need to pick up at least one point and have good game management with no silly mistakes in defence and no wastefulness in front of goal.

With a tad more good fortune, less wastefulness and eradicating silly mistakes we would/ should have had 4 more points and been on 15 POINTS ( drawn against Liverpool and Wolves and beaten Arsenal ) .

# points accumulation is the bottom line.

Bazooka _Viduka

1.) 26 Nov 2020 15:03:05
Good news is they will def attack.
Can we stop them from scoring?
Two diff Everton teams last week. Awesome first half. Crap second after job done. Bit like us v Fulham.
Another close game. They have talented forward players Although never a fan of Mexican.

2.) 26 Nov 2020 15:34:49
gutted about these three

epically shacks I think he is a great player and very underestimated. personally he would be one of the first names on my team sheet and possible England star, I really rate him that highly.

Everton will want to play and that suits us

also worth saying we have been cheated twice by var which could of helped with couple more points.

I am still very confident we will not be in relegation scrap and think top half is more likely than bottom five once we get players back and bedded in.

3.) 26 Nov 2020 18:19:14
Digne is out injured for Everton, think he was very dangerous against Fulham in the first half, his crosses from the left into the box created goals . Pleased he's not playing Saturday against us, would have given Ayling a proper battle.

4.) 27 Nov 2020 08:18:38
Not cheated by VAR Berm, cheated by a shite official looking at VAR.

5.) 27 Nov 2020 10:49:27
yes ox very very true.

Agree with Brighty on this one . Jansson definitely not missed certainly not EPL standard.

I do miss Roofe's goals though.

As for Chris and Berm, one could say it is no longer credible calling Cooper ' League one Liam ' . he more than proved he was effective to good Championship standard last season.

Why hope Alf?

Douglas is decent back up for Dallas.

It's not as if we are blessed with a plethora of left backs. Alioski never convinces at left back and Davis for me looked well out of his depth against City.

Will Leeds be signing a left back instead. Very much doubt it.

The Pablo "issue" has been concerning me . but as Bielsa is renowned for his honesty if he actually says Pablo is injured then one expects it is a given he is actually injured. Hopefully Pablo will be on the bench against Chelsea or the following matches!

Heard Llorente ( hopefully) will be fully recovered and available by mid December. Match fitness will then be the issue!

Rodrigo good question . looks like he may be on the bench for the time being at least!

It would be absolutely brilliant but in reality.

No chance of it happening as although Haaland has as it turns out a very reasonable release clause of Β£67 million clause, it can't be activated until 2022 and more to the point one can expect all the top clubs to be in for him witb offers of very high salaries to boot far in excess of what Leeds could offer.

As for any emotional ties the lad was born in Leeds and his dad played for Leeds so there is a tenuous connection of sorts , but also from his interviews when asked Haaland has clearly stated that he does not support Leeds.

Money will talk end of.
