Viviani deal broke down because his agent insisted on an escape clause, allowing him to leave at the january window if team not in promotion/playoff position. Massimo wise not to accept that?

I heard a rumour he wanted £5k a week more than MC wanted to pay and wouldn't budge.
Like I say it was only a rumour
2.) Needs to be over and done with now, wasted too much time on this deal. Sounds like he wouldn't have the back bone to survive in the championship during the winter. Already planning an escape route, doesn't sound the sort we need

Daniele Cacia on his way to Leeds from Verona. Scored 24 goals in serie B the previous season, but mostly at the bench in serie A this season. Deal done, some "minor issues" to be solved before made public. May be a scoop!
1.) Surely there are other areas we need to strengthen first. Like another keeper, the leaky defense, the lack of natural wingers. a decent CM. When the strikers were decent last season. Could it be that the bid for Ross will be accepted then? Or is someone else gunna leave, like morison or hunt?
2.) I think we will find come the start of the season, Leeds will have a very different looking starting XI. MC has his plans. as hard as it is we just need to be patient. I can't see Rosco staying though!
3.) Agree Soaley but don't we say that every season.

Six different players scored one league goal each - a bit different from last season when McCormack out ment Leeds out! Nice to see we no longer depend on one or two players!
And loads of cred to Doukara, who may prove a massive transfer! Terrific scoring ratio so far this season! Think he has it all, and will only get better! Hopefully Becchio rumours now dead and burried!

Vital Leeds' "fans view of the match" reward Dominic Poleon with 1 single point, and accuse him for "lack of interest" even when warming up. Jeez, did they watch the match? He didn't get many minutes to make an impact, but it was his clever involvement that set up Tonge for his shot and Billy for the goal! Get a grip, Poleon is improving and should have a future in Leeds!
1.) Spot on - It was an unfair assessment of Poleon, it's hard to be critical given the time he was on the pitch - If the rumours are true and we sign Attenucci it is hard to see Poleon getting much of an opportunity. Sharp, Attenucci, Doukara, Smith, Morrison, Poleon, Hunt (haha had to include Hunt)
2.) Poleon was one of our best players at millwall, very lively and tried hard to make things happen and had a hand in our chance cleared off line. Jury is out for me but from what little I have seen think he is on par with ajose and should maybe be given a chance or loaned to a championship club to see how he does. I want him to come good not sure he will. if not loan him to oreint as they are coming up and i'm there all the time with work and could act as scout free of charge

ball.He was jogging when Boro's backs were bring the ball out I was shouting sprint and close them down.
Was on the pitch for 15 mins could have run his nuts off.I think he want's out?

Well done Poleon how many games and 1 assist!
When you go out on loan you get assessed and Poleon did not do anything even though he dropped down a league.
If he put 100% effort in I'm sure he'd get a chance but I'm afraid he NEVER does :(

Rotherham has signed Ipswich forward Paul Taylor on loan. Hopefully because they're offloading Agard to us?

I'm a bit confused here, Ed: everyone here seem to think WE got 11 mill for Ross. Reports say HE has signed a deal worth 11 mill, and for "an undisclosed fee". Is the 11 mill Ross' income over the four (+1) year, meaning the club gets an undiclosed (and probably lot lower) fee?

With 1.44 pr match and still 1.95 in the first half he REALLY seems like the magician we need.
