Pretty gutted tbh regarding monk. But as a Leeds fan nothing shocks me anymore! Monk could have made himself a legend at this great club! Oh well! Just praying to god we don't get hodgson, zola or moyes! That will just about finish me off!

Was at the game tonight, good result in the end! Absolutely appalled at how bad sivestri is in goal! Why can't he catch a ball? Why can't the coaches drum it in to him to catch the damn ball! Absolute liability. Even green is a flapper despite having a few really good games recently! Turnbull has got to be wondering why he's not getting a look in surely?

Hey guys, Great news today regarding Andrea! Think he will bring in real stability for the club which is fantastic! And he's pleased with monks work ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ‘ðŸ»ðŸ˜€! Aren't we all! Seeing Leeds are still interested in Ashley fletcher? Is it me or am I missing something? His record as a striker is woeful! 5 goals in about 35 games, all of which were for Barnsley! Admittedly I've never seen him play but can't we do better? For me nugent and Rhodes are experienced goal scorers, way better options even if they are older! Plus there's a reason Man Utd let fletcher go, he ain't good enough! Remember the last Man Utd reject we got.? Not good enough! MOT.

I guess you are talking about Wooton? Remember Strachan? I just feel that Garry Monk knows what he is doing and going by the players he has brought in already we should trust his judgement. However, i'd take Rhodes all day as he is a proven scorer at Championship level.

Yes wooton, strachan was in a completely different footballing era so you can't use him as an example. But I agree with you, I have faith in monk although grimes hasn't turned out so good has he?
All I'm saying is why don't we go for proven strikers as opposed to ones that haven't done anything? We are even linked with an Italian striker who failed at West Ham! No sense!

Fuzz you are right but the problem is proven strikers cost. Lots of names being mentioned and Rhodes will cost aprox 8 mill. Nugent imo is a 12 goal a season man. If Monk believes Fletcher can add to the squad then that's good enough for me.

Fletcher is been looked at as a cheap gamble on a future player (the lad is only 21 after all, most players that age are out on loan in Lg1 or 2) . I would think Monk is looking at him a lot like Sacko, he has stupid amounts of pace, you can't teach that. With Beattie to work with he could become a really good forward given a little time, would rather have either of the other two but one is way over priced and the other is in his decline. As a short term fix he is a bad signing but as an investment he could be really good. Ps for the record Fuzzy, Man U offered him an extension, he ran his contract out so he isn't a reject, he wanted first team football (Also why he now wants out at Ham) which is a good attitude at least.

If we're looking at a cheap gamble, I'd rather Kashket from Wycombe. He played a lot of futsal so he's quite skilful and is in good form atm. Wouldn't cost £2m either. If we're spending £2m on a striker it should be someone like Nugent who is experienced in the Champ, rather than Fletcher.

Hey guys, went along to Bolton game and finally got over my curse of not ever seeing Leeds win live! That's a result in itself! Also bought this years home shirt (the fitted one) and although I'm probably sounding biased, I think it's the best football shirt Leeds have ever had if not any club! Looks classy and retro without the sponsors! Love it!
Also talking about next years squad, I watched the mls game last night between Chicago Fire and New York, and Chicago had a Ghanaian striker called David Accam! He was rapid, exciting to watch, skilful and is on 9k a week! His career record is brilliant, goal every 2 games! Think we could attract a player like him and he would destroy this league! Anyone else noticed him?

good to see you beat your curse I haven't seen leeds win live for six years after never seeing them lose for 15 years so hopefully both our curses will be lifted in a fortnight. also everytime I meet the leeds players something great happens to club (we won it in 92 and got promoted last time I hugged Larry, yes speedy I hugged larry how jealous are you? ) so next season I will stalk them and hug whoever our manager is to get us promoted. don't know this accam but sounds good. I do hope we keep ant but give him performance based contract as he has been too hit and miss this season for me (altough not played enough either IMO) someone else mentioned a charlton player but the fans I have spoken to said he is bit in and out of games like dallas. clough was also mentioned and I think he would be a real quality signing. I also think lescott might be about next season and decent shout if wages are not a problem but think they would be.

South stand as segregation between Leeds fans yes Leeds fans to be honest they won't be much atmosphere wherever you go in the ground at the moment one thing you won't have a problem with is getting tickets, new low for the season Tuesday night I think 16 - 17,000.

Because no other club has the expectations of Leeds United! I don't care what anyone says, Leeds are THE biggest club outside the prem, end of! Even bigger than half the teams in the prem! Biggest fan base in the championship, with the most loyal fans! And simply our players can't deal with! Mentally not strong enough! Why do England never win the World Cup? Because of the expectations!

Excellent, that's more like it! A bit of naked dancing and marraccas playing never did anyone any harm, esp if helps boost morale and confidence! Grudge? Me? Never! Just remember you being quite excitable about SE, so thought you'd be singing and dancing! (Which, little did I know behind the scenes you are! ) keep it up!
Personally SE wouldn't have been my first choice, but have watched the press conference and thought he presented himself pretty well! I'm always pretty optimistic when it comes to new managers! But we'll see! Time will tell.
