LUFC reportedly among several PL clubs considering bidding for Calvin Ramsay, 18 year old defender with Aberdeen. Bids in region of £4m expected.

Apparently Cody has double downed on his recent exit from us. He's reportedly cancelled or unfollowed many LUFC players as well as the official account of LUFC on social media. Some breakthrough season Baz for the lovechild? More like break-up. Think that makes us at least equal on the getting things wrong stakes.

1.) 14 Jan 2022 21:52:15
Given MB’s comments, he has no future at Leeds, and for me, he can do one. Go rot in the championship with some run of the mill gaffer, and waste your potential. Misguided or arrogant? Dunno. But he can do one.

2.) 15 Jan 2022 04:12:46
George : Drameh can still fulfil my prediction that he will have .
a successful EPL career. That looks perhaps unlikely now to be with LUFC certainly if MB doesn't leave LUFC end of season.

VO spent transfer fee of £1 million plus of LUFC money on Cody so hopefully that will be recouped if Cody were to move on ; so there was no need by Bielsa for the unBielsa like digs at Drameh in his press conference yesterday because that probably could hinder recouping all or more of the £1 million transfer fee expenditure

Cody wants to play first team football, more than fair enough, most footballers naturally aspire to do so, yet I wouldn't have chosen to do so under Steve Morrison and Cardiff, but it seems evident to Cody that square pegs in round holes Bielsa would rather play midfielders Dallas and Shackleton at RB than him.

Bielsa is definitely no Oleary/ Eddie Gray in giving our young players a sustained chance to shine; unless he has no other choice of player he won't play these young players for more than half a game, or a game at a time.

and Brighty I certainly wouldn't assign all blame to Cody; notorious El Loco with his favourites has form in unfairly dealing with some other players including LUFC legends.

.

Baz An excellent post. I concur.

4.) 15 Jan 2022 21:06:10
Cheers George.

LUFC reportedly interested in acquiring the Blackburn centre mid John Buckley.

12 Jan 2022 21:09:34
LUFC reportedly interested in acquiring 18 year old LB who plays for Oldham, Benny Cuoto.

1.) 13 Jan 2022 09:27:43
Although if he joins in Jan he would be loaned back to Oldham for the remainder of the season.

Pop quiz for everyone. I think everyone accepts that Jack Harrison is a midfielder (as opposed to a striker) . I mean he's a winger but wingers are still midfielders in my opinion. Question is which midfielder before Jacky last scored a hat trick for Leeds?
First prize for correct answer is a 3 day posting embargo on Aus. Good luck!

1.) 17 Jan 2022 14:57:18
Gary McAllister.?

2.) 17 Jan 2022 15:00:52
Jonny howson?

3.) 17 Jan 2022 15:16:06
Me has provided the correct answer. I believe it was a League Cup game some dozen years ago against nighty Yorkshire rivals Scunthorpe.
Whitelight, I believe would've been the correct answer had I qualified my original question by saying hat trick in a league game.
Me wins. Aus, see you on Thursday!

Rodrigo you are a loot backwards. That's what £27m gets you. Go back to Spain.

1.) 16 Jan 2022 17:19:14
maybe enjoy the win and focus on the positives today George, we beat 4th place Wet Sham away.

2.) 16 Jan 2022 17:24:54
Baz I’ve disagreed with 95% of the things you’ve said this season but couldn’t agree more with that statement.

3.) 16 Jan 2022 17:36:31
Well said Bazza!

4.) 16 Jan 2022 17:37:13
Like Baz George, enjoy the moment fella, we haven’t had much to cheer about so far this season . 🍻.

5.) 16 Jan 2022 17:41:46
Agree guys. It was a terrific performance but I felt bad for Klich.

6.) 16 Jan 2022 21:45:21
BazVid is focussing on the positives. Happy with that. Here are some for you Baz. Jackie back to his best, Klichy looking full of energy again, Rapha omg what more can I say - enjoy it while you can not sure we will be able to watch genuinely one of the best players in the world for much longer. Pascal for me our best (or beast) centre back. To be where we are and have (accidentally) blooded so many young players (pascal joffy Leo (how good was he today) shacks, drameh (can I say that one? ) Jimmy Bate the list goes on. Awesome. Oh cresswell Greenwood. Very happy tonight.

7.) 16 Jan 2022 22:28:07
good post Mattanimal ; a lot of players stepped up their levels today, definitely our best result so far this season and probably our best performance so far.

Adam Forshaw signs one year contract extension with LUFC. The club have option to extend for another year if they choose. Rob Price is said to be delighted with the news.

1.) 14 Jan 2022 19:26:49
You’ve got to hand it to Forshaw, 2 years out with injury may have mentally finished off most players. Although Forshaw praises Price for his incredible medical assistance with his recovery, it has to be said Forshaw’s own mental strength and belief in himself has secured him with a further contract for more Premiership football with Leeds.
Some fans might be cynical and not appreciate Forshaw, for me any player who can work as hard as he has and to put himself back in the squad deserves to wear the shirt.

2.) 15 Jan 2022 11:47:13
Bl00dy bang on OP! Just like a resurrection!

14 Jan 2022 13:40:50
Wonderful news today about Wayne Rooney's Derby. Perhaps we should submit offers for Sibley and Knight?

1.) 15 Jan 2022 11:50:34
Bang on George. Actually feel a bit sorry for Shrek, as he has walked right into Fat Lambturd’s sh1t shower.

11 Jan 2022 00:22:42
From last season Paddy Bambam arm.
Helder Costa patella follicles.
This season it's the Klingon invisibility cloaking devices plural of Jarrod Bowen and Michael Antonio. Whatever next?

1.) 11 Jan 2022 02:16:28
It really is quite incredible that is allowed to stand.
I just don’t get it.
How can they not be remprimanded for a clear error at work. All of them.

2.) 11 Jan 2022 05:46:35
Aus Who are the reprimanders going to be? Scotland Yard lol? FIFA lmao 🤣? How about the Sepp Blatter Fair Play in Football ⚽ Foundation Fund?

3.) 11 Jan 2022 06:23:32
how about George a fit for purpose newly formed football organisation that replaces a disbanded ( for a multitude of reasons) Football Association.

4.) 11 Jan 2022 07:00:33
I think everybody should be responsible for their actions in life or work.
Everybody makes mistakes.
There is no way that is a mistake. That is def corrupt.
It is time to bring in a review panel for var decisions and even if you can’t right the wrong for the team.
You should be able to officially warm and then sack said culprits.
That’s all normal folk get and we don’t make $million decisions.

5.) 11 Jan 2022 07:01:12
I know Liverpool get poor decisions but do Devon ever?

6.) 11 Jan 2022 10:22:30
Baz That case do something about it. Compose a suitably titled petition at that change website. Send the link via tweet to Specsavers for support and added exposure. You might gather a few signatures. Half of Leeds for a start.
Simultaneously, send the link to Trekkies fan club informing them that the Klingon invisibility cloaking device is seemingly alive and well and is currently to be found in the east end of London.

Brighty I want this to happen for several reasons but one of them is that Leeds fans everywhere then inundate Gobby to tell him that he was wrong and is generally a very 💩 pundit. Can see Baz approving.

He's an American and top class. Problem is club we're trying to buy him from we have history with. Why don't you know about this player, Brighty? You buy him and Nandez and you've got yourself some midfield.

PLAB I think they'll survive. They could offer Boro £20m by selling their best players and Wycombe £1m. Knight Sibley Lawrence will fetch fees. Otherwise, if Boro prefer to see Derby die, they'll earn nothing in the admin and liquidation. I don't think Boro will want to see Derby get finished off like that.

Cluey and OP I do think Lamps is a mischievous unprintable word but justice has already been given so I let it go. Derby gave us guard of honour at PP, Vic took the with his binoculars. Now look. Derby are in dire trouble facing relegation to league one and liquidation thanks to Boro and Wycombe litigation. Lamps no job. I'm quite content with this one. However, mention a 40 yard thunderbolt free kick from Peter Lorimer some 55 years ago, a West Brom offside never given 50 years ago, a European Cup Final 47 years ago and you'll find my mood changes from chill to being extremely irate. I know what pain to keep hold of and that to let go. If none of you can see divine Providence gave those at Derby their comeuppance and we should be satiated I don't know what to tell you.

OP It wasn't really Lamps excessive reaction but the media. Media always make a meal of Leeds drama.

OP Think you're being overly critical. 1. Rooney has actually done a brilliant job at Derby. They'd be 11th without the deductions. I also think he's calmed down since becoming a coach. 2. Lamps mistake was taking the big job too early but he does come across as being a bit of loot backwards at times. He was relatively gracious toward our song until his overspending cheating employers permitted his revenge which we then countered via the very man referred above who gave us guard of honor.
3. If anything, it's Big Dunc who annoyed me for turning us down almost 30 years ago. I cried because I knew how good he was.
Also, why you concerned with the blues? They on a downward spiral and are beneath us in every way. Let's look upward. MOT 💛💙.
