Jordan Stevens joins Bradford City on loan until end of season.

1.) 08 Jan 2021 13:15:08
Good move for him. Should get regular game time and can't see him ever playing a part for us.

2.) 10 Jan 2021 17:47:15
Do they want a goalkeeper George?

3.) 11 Jan 2021 13:35:07
Not at 40k per week I'll warrant.

07 Jan 2021 19:44:17
It appears the link to acquire midfielder Erick Pulgar is increasing.

1.) 07 Jan 2021 21:10:12
Would like to see this as to me we would fair better playing 4-2-3-1 against better teams than 4-1-4-1 and he seems like he would suit that.
Let's hope.

2.) 08 Jan 2021 03:42:38
πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦ Completely agree.

23 Dec 2020 14:33:33
Anyone fancy a Trippier to the bookies? πŸ˜‚πŸ˜.

23 Dec 2020 06:37:06
Forshaw can apparently leave on loan next month and for the remainder of the season should a club be interested.

1.) 25 Dec 2020 11:00:20
Hope they got a hospital nearby.

29 Sep 2020 22:56:41
Bryce Hosannah joins Bradford City on season long loan.

1.) 30 Sep 2020 09:27:29
Good luck to the lad. Hopefully his injuries are behind him. Actually read he’d been released over the summer so pleased that’s not the case. Cody coming in meant a possible reduction in game time for u23s so this makes a lot of sense.

2.) 30 Sep 2020 09:36:47
Wonder if City will be singing Hosannah by the end of the season?

3.) 30 Sep 2020 11:59:11
Great move for him, so hope he gets the game time to Take his development to the next level.

Haven't posted in awhile but feel compelled to now in light of Richie post about going long. First, was disgusted at performance at Crawley. Worst result in our history. Clear to me what's going on. Further to several drubbings, we've changed our style of play. I believe management has requested Bielsa to ensure we don't get any more of these 4-1 type defeats and he's caved in. The media furore surrounding that woman distracted and interrupted us also. The combination of these things have tricked us into defensive adaptation. Bielsa has noticeably adjusted our style of play for this purpose. It's a mistake because it isn't working. We're simply going to lose by the odd goal now. Where was this pragmatism at Old Trafford? We're playing the wrong style against certain opponents. By doing so, we help the opposition. We all know our personnel need upgrades but for right now management has lost the plot. Sacking Bub not the answer. We should simply revert to our former swashbuckling style. It has limitations and we'll get turned over a fair amount of times but we'd generate enough points to stay up. Going into our shell like a tortoise is not the solution. One of the proofs I'm right about what's going on is Cooper. He's looking a better defender right now because he's less exposed but at the cost of us playing awfully. Ironic since as captain he vowed we wouldn't change the way we play.

1.) 17 Jan 2021 17:33:13
Yes GIW but there is also the injuries that have made Bub try and be less exposed at the back and has made us look like we have changed.
One thing I thought as there are no easy games, away from home against top half teams he should have a different set up and try and play on the break.

2.) 17 Jan 2021 17:47:43
Good point Leeds1970 on the different set up needed away from home against the better teams.

3.) 17 Jan 2021 18:07:27
Not sure I agree George. Can't see Bielsa changing his philosophy for anyone and pray to God that he doesn't. Ever. I love his way of playing ans if that means we have to endure the occasional 4-1 loss then so be it.

4.) 17 Jan 2021 19:21:49
1970 I accept your point about injuries so far as it goes. Losing Koch, Llo and even Bera doesn't help but you don't cut your nose. We play a system but it's been modified negatively too negatively to accommodate various issues.

Alf Your right to disagree but I see things differently and if what you write is true, care to explain our lack of goals and scoring opportunities created in the last few games? I have noticed a change in style as have other posters and it's a big mistake. Before that woman interfered, I'd have agreed with you. Bielsa stubbornness ain't for changing but things have changed. I believe the pressure has got to management as a unit and we've gone the wrong way on things. I'm not a full advocate of our swashbuckling approach but between that and what I'm seeing right now, I take Bielsaball every time.

5.) 17 Jan 2021 19:23:14
Tbh we are better playing our regular style away from home because the state of the pitch at ER is abysmal. I think it has been contributing to our poorer play because it is so difficult to pass on the surface. It was very heavy yesterday and that meant pass after pass went astray, was overshot or went behind our players.

6.) 17 Jan 2021 20:28:59
Alf In the round are right about pitch but believe abysmal too harsh a description. I've seen it worse. That's another factor in all of this though. Worrying times.

7.) 17 Jan 2021 20:45:23
sorry pitch is no excuse

1stly it didn't affect brighton

2ndly we know the pitch is what it is to not plan for it is proper f"""ing stupid

also George I am lost at your post

you think belisa has changed style? how

you think it is to stop us getting beat yet we lost 3-0 spurs, 3-0 crawley and 1-0 relegation fodder

truth is nothing has changed hence we are still losing to the Wigans and the Ipswiches, Millwalls and Cardiffs

when the pattern of play changes, when the results against this type of team changes I will shut up until that point maybe we have to realise the problem is nothing at leeds has changed since day one of bubs in charge

game suits us we win in style the game don't suit us we play like a bunch of mugs. same old same old. how you think anything has changed is beyond me.

8.) 17 Jan 2021 21:06:48
Nothing has changed? What, apart from getting promoted! All we need to do is stay in the league this season then build from there. We're 12th, we might finish higher, we might finish lower. So what! Why should we hope or expect to be any better than we are?

9.) 17 Jan 2021 22:51:23
No danum nothing has changed we spent 100 million to still struggle against every team who sit back with two banks of four

Different leauge same problems

Yes we have gone up but the board have backed belisa so why the same problems?

10.) 18 Jan 2021 04:04:58
Berm Would your understanding of my post be facilitated if I'd mentioned John Lukic or criticized KP? I'm observing we've gone into a defensive shell. In games gone by, we'd concede a few yes but also score one and create chances which went begging. We're not even doing that anymore. We seem scared and intent on anticipating and sniffing out counterattacks. We're not as adventurous with our passing. We seem like we've lost some self-belief and self-esteem. Looks like we're trying something new and foreign. These are my observations.

10 Jan 2021 15:05:24
How embarrassing. Berm and Hess going to have a field day.

1.) 10 Jan 2021 15:11:01
Berm?
Berm rates Kiko as a fine shot stopper πŸ€ͺ
enough said.

2.) 10 Jan 2021 15:25:58
yeah BV I did stick up for him today. egg on my face

lets be honest though it was not just the keepers fault (although he was a joke)

there manager tactically mugged our manager off and yet again Belisa could not find an answer to English football.

3.) 10 Jan 2021 15:26:18
What Berm meant was Kiko has refused the vax.

This current lockdown set to last until mid-February so, according to Karen Carney at least, the female population of Leeds could be in for a real treat on Valentine's Day! All that strength and stamina in reserve πŸ†πŸ’›πŸ’™πŸ‘ŠπŸ˜πŸ˜†.

30 Dec 2020 06:14:52
Well done πŸ‘πŸ’›πŸ’™ Andrea for sticking up for us. You're a man of principles. Benjamin White take a bow for your comic πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ tweet in response. You're a great guy. Jeff Stelling with his tweet though should take most of the plaudits something along lines of yes they were really struggling with 5 consecutive wins before the break. If George recalls correctly those 5 wins came with 5 clean sheets too. Suggestion for Andrea. Invite Jeff and Ben over for afternoon tea to say thanks. πŸ’›πŸ’™.

1.) 30 Dec 2020 06:39:40
George, male or female pundit, it’s just another retired pro making insignificant opinions and getting paid for for it which is concerning! I believe there are far to many ex pro pundits in the football media today, spouting their mindless chit chat. They should be putting something more significant back into football than this, it’s an easy buck is all.

2.) 30 Dec 2020 07:03:14
10 points is a lot to win a league by.
It’s not fair or even sensible to make such a stupid ill informed comment.
She is entitled to her opinion but she should expect a back lash when it’s a stupid one.
She is really showing a lack of understanding of the game.
And a lack of brain matter too.

3.) 30 Dec 2020 09:16:53
JFH not that great either! Much prefer Beckford doing analysis!

4.) 30 Dec 2020 09:48:36
Makes me laugh now with those trash like comments made by Karen Carney, that she shouldn’t be criticized because it’s sexist! Really! .
All those powder puff, snowflake, so called righteous do gooders who are saying this are blight to humanity.
I give up!

5.) 30 Dec 2020 09:48:53
Excellent spot on posts by George, OP, Aus and DSW.

6.) 30 Dec 2020 10:21:41
Rio also, very quick to chastise Radz, but said nowt about her idiotic comment .

Wonder if she commented on men commiting adultery would Rio agree with that 1 also.

7.) 30 Dec 2020 11:29:26
She should shut up.
I used to say to my ex. If you don’t know what you’re talking about it just makes you look stupid.
She talked a lot.

Alf With a last name like his, no wonder he's on a free. Must have severed his last contract. Also, if his name is anything to go by he might be another Wiedwald letting in goals like a sieve.

Gumbo With the new investment, can see us adding one permanent signing in January of note. In midfield to supplant Klich.

Gumbo Your right to disagree but from what I hear Rose is trouble and would likely upset the happy go lucky camaraderie of the dressing room. Also, why consider taking back a player who was disloyal to us by leaving? He's a problem we don't need. As for 🐝 wanting lots of money, surprised? Good players attract big price tags. There won't be many bargains for a quality left back. Personally, I think Huggins can make it but in reality see him being loaned out for a season first.

Spaniard I've noticed improvement from Struick. The more he plays the better he's going to become in my opinion. As for Gotts, I think he can make it with us once he returns.

I think it's also important that when Haaland joins us in the summer, he's joining the 2021 FA Cup winners. Therefore, play the U-23s because they're good enough.
