We're not attractive enough to tempt an established manager with a proven track record and the one time we had a manager who knew how to get promoted, he got slaughtered by half the fans and sacked. We failed to keep Monk who brought us the most success in years so where next? I'd suggest looking at the coaching staff of the big clubs for someone with ambition or a recently retired player. Someone who will inspire, command respect, doesn't come with baggage and who will escape the wrath of fans because of who they played for. One name springs to mind, Steven Gerrard but I'm sure there are others. Most importantly, someone who doesn't keep doing the same thing over and over again and expect a different result!

Gerrard excepted Rangers job if reports are to be believed.

Rangers? just goes to show the lad has no ambition, easy life in Scotland.

If Grot is 'one for the future' and deemed good enough to warrant chances in the first team, how good or otherwise are the other 'ones for the future' who are not considered to be good enough to get any playing time? Recruitment thus far, with the exception of Saiz, has been poor to say the least. Are any of them better than the ones we let go; Taylor, Green, Wood, Bartley and Bridcutt?

Keep reading that we need to sign 4 or more players to push for top 6 etc. Reality check : 2nd half of last season we had the worst record in the division. We had two managers, neither of whom could get the team playing and as yet have signed no-one of any stature that suggests we will improve. Personally, I'd say we need at least 4 to avoid relegation, regardless of who the manager is.

I agree that we need to sign some big players to make a push in with you there however, where you say we have signed nobody to improve us I can assure you baker will. He is what we was missing in that midfield last season him and Forshaw will complement each other’s different styles

Terrible performance again. Can't remember ever feeling less optimistic about our fortunes going forward. Can honestly only see relegation next year and possibly a record fewest points as I don't think we have a team capable of competing with teams already in the league, let alone the big clubs coming down. Worst Leeds team I have seen in my 45 years.

A man with his eyes open. now what are you going to do about it?

2.) 28 Apr 2018 17:42:05
Totally agree Giles. 49 years for me, I feel so deflated and let down. I have never seen a Leeds team with so little passion. Feel sorry for BFP.

3.) 28 Apr 2018 18:04:33
Worse Leeds team than any of the 80s teams. No passion from the hierarchy to the manager to the players, knocking 30,000 next week let's all leave the ground with 20 minutes left no applause from me.

4.) 28 Apr 2018 18:16:55
55 years and counting. But I agree. Totally pessimistic about our chances of staying in the league next season. And weakest players I can remember. I can't really think of a single player I'd be too upset about if they leave. Something not right begind the scenes.

Something?

Visited the football museum in Manchester yesterday. Enjoyed it but also found it a little sad too. Memorabilia, trophies, film and photos etc from loads of clubs but understandably mostly Man U, Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and you've guessed it . Leeds. Then you compare where we are now!

Good to see some on here are finally realising he isn't a good manager.

2.) 07 Apr 2018 17:00:24
Said it earier, only a make weight. need a proper football manager not a coach.

Who picks the team and decides formation? No change since TC. I thought it was a sign of madness to keep doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome!

Phillips it is then and what a pile of shite he is. Personally I'd like to see Anita given a chance in his proper position.

Anita is being used to fill gaps but never in his best position. Given the options I'd like to see him used in midfield alongside forshaw. DeBock at left back and beradi at right back then judge them. As for keeper, whoever turns up with a pair of gloves!

Felix, Anita, Pennington, DeBock, Dallas, Viera, Forshaw, Phillips
Hernandez, Roofe, Alioski Subs: Roberts, Cibicki, Lasogga, Sacko, Peacock, ? Two of the forwards would need to make it 5 in midfield to win the ball back. Felix should just boot it long as his passing is crap. Easy on paper!

I know I was a mid season signing but I didn't sign on to be left out of the team. I'll accept a loan deal to somewhere sunny though!

I fear for next season as we look as poor as Sunderland right now. Next season will see us up against the likes of West Brom, Stoke, Southampton, West Ham with all their resources as well as perhaps Derby, Boro and the rest. This is probably the weakest Leeds team I've seen in my 40 years following the club. Poor in all areas!

What's the excuse that 11 other teams are above us?
