oh dear not going well now. What happened? are we falling apart again?

Hardy

1.) 01 Jan 2019 21:47:07
Hardy did you watch the games against Blackburn and Forest, losing games doesn’t mean you are falling apart!

2.) 01 Jan 2019 23:42:07
Do not worry Hardy, pretty much every game I have seen Leeds play this season; win, lose or draw, I have felt that the way we have played, we have deserved something out of every game. We are as good, if not better than any team in the division.
Keep the faith.

3.) 02 Jan 2019 03:27:27
Still had 63% possession with just 10 men for most of the game. We're still good. No need to panic yet. I'd rather be in our position than anyone elses.

4.) 02 Jan 2019 03:43:31
Nice one ghost, but right now we're too of the league so therefore we're better than any team in the division :)

5.) 02 Jan 2019 14:25:50
I don’t think there will be many other managers who believe their team is better than us, in this league. We’ve had our poor results, but the level of quality and consistency this squad is producing under Bielsa, is amazing.

10 Jun 2017 01:31:05
So who thinks we should of given Garry Monk a 3 year contract? Best manager in the last 10 years and we offer him a 1 year deal. That just shows how SKINT we are and how tight Radrizzani is. Can see Boro topping the league and us left wondering what could of been. AGAIN.

Hardy

1.) 10 Jun 2017 01:51:03
Made VERY clear publicly that Radrizzani wanted to activate the 1 year extension (we didn't offer him anything at that point, that was a clause in his contract) while a 3 year deal was worked out,the takeover dragged on and he was running out of time to sort something. Monk left because he wanted to leave not because we low balled him on the contract.
You really need to start fact checking before you post Hardy.

2.) 10 Jun 2017 02:16:47
eh? why offer 1 year if he believed he was the right man for the job? 3 year with bonus would of sorted it.

3.) 10 Jun 2017 02:22:24
Gummie old pal look at the talent we have let go for PEANUTS and tell me we are not SKINT. When Radrizzani buys the stadium i will start listening to your nonsense.

4.) 10 Jun 2017 02:50:28
Gummie wants facts? I will give you 3 facts Jannson to soton Wood to Huddersfield and we finish 16th. And Taylor to liverpool h a h a h a .

5.) 10 Jun 2017 07:53:38
I think he was dreadful, brilliant news he's gone.
Hardy you want facts - 20 games of a 46 game season spent in relegation form! Surely that says enough on its own.
Another is apart from wood no one else scored.
He changed the formation once for 20 minutes in a whole season, which resulted in us playing our best football and scoring 3 goals, but then ignored that and reverted back to same tactics, formation and players.
Oh and another fact is that the whole of the league knew exactly how we would set up, play and the formation, resulting in us being beaten quite easily by the likes of wolves and burton!

6.) 10 Jun 2017 11:36:36
Hardy, why are you here? obviously not a Leeds fan and from your opinions I would suggest you are trying to bait the fans who use this site, guess what we have seen, heard and read it all before, out of everything you have posted the only one that may hold water is possibly Wood to the dog botherers, that's up to who ever we get as the new manager/coach, Monk whilst offering stability lost his way and was too predictable, as for being as you put it SKINT what's new we're used to it. Marching on

7.) 10 Jun 2017 13:31:32
Just shows you don't check them, Liverpool dropped Taylor interest weeks ago and have put in a bid for someone else, His only admirers right now are WBA or Galatasaray and both of them have cooled on him too. Soton only looked at Jansson as a possible replacement for Van Dijk who isn't going anywhere right now and even if Wood does go (every player has a price) he is been tracked by 7 prem clubs, Udders been the smallest and with the lowest wage budget, fair play to them if they stump up £15-20m and can convince him they are the smart choice over the likes of Soton or West Ham.
As for Rad been skint he sold his company for £1bn so I'm guessing he's doing ok, he can't just throw money at the club, pesky little thing called FFP, runs on a 3 year cycle and we have lost as lot of money over the last few years.

8.) 10 Jun 2017 14:47:38
Hardy, not one of your posts has proven fruitful so please do us all a favour and bugger off

9.) 10 Jun 2017 18:53:21
Monks failure to keep us in playoff places when we were in third place with a handful of games 11points ahead of Fulham was nothing short of calamitous

10.) 11 Jun 2017 23:18:02
I'd absolutely love it if we do a Fulham on Middlesboro this season 😂😂.

But to be honest, I never want to be involved in the play offs, play offs for me is a consolation prize for not quite making it, it's not something that teams should be looking to achieve.

Jansson said earlier in the season that we got caught trying to stay in the play offs than kicking on and trying to make top 2, no matter how fruitless that task would of ended up being, we might not have lost form so drastically.

I can't deny I wanted Monk to stay, but 2 weeks on from his resignation, I can't say I'm all that bothered he's gone (easy to say now I guess) .

The thing for me is, is Garry Monk telling us that him nor his agent had any contact with Radrizzani about anything at all.

If you want someone to stay you'd say "hold on, I've just to sort taking over the club, let's extend your contract by that year we've got an option on and then look to work Some thing out later down the line, so you've peace of mind you'll be here next year and we've peace of mind we won't need a new manager"

You trying to tell me those talks never happened? I find that hard to believe at all, they're humans and they aren't mute. And it was Monk who asked for the extension not to be triggered.

My guess is Monk wanted security with regards to a long contract so that if it went tits up, he'd got a guaranteed payout.

2017's form was nothing short of disgraceful and with talks of rifts with Jansson and Clotet been mooted, wouldn't suprise me if the players were starting to down tools on him.

I mean 1-1 against Wigan when there was no pressure on that game and we had a far superior squad in the last game says a lot to me now.

Whatever Monks reasoning though, he's gone and we need a new manager and that Victor Sanchez guy has managed 3 teams, and one of them was Olympiacos for 2 games AND he didn't even win one of them.

I don't think i'm replying to anyone here, more just venting frustrations and thoughts so no one take offense lol

All I know from this summer is, buy Leigh Griffiths and run if someone offers you Joe Hart lol

07 Jun 2017 22:28:09
Pontus Jansson is going. Chris Wood is going. No manager. The real truth is coming out now about the state of LUFC. we are skint.

Hardy

1.) 08 Jun 2017 00:01:12
Glad you're back hardy. Hate being happy.

2.) 08 Jun 2017 13:40:54
where is the source that Jannsson and Wood is going and indeed that we are skint? is this just baseless nagativity?

3.) 08 Jun 2017 14:59:24
Hardly, you know that managerial appointment you said was going to occur inside 24 hours when you mentioned it a week ago?

4.) 08 Jun 2017 16:32:30
Hardy I'm getting sick of your constant false rumours, please stop posting dribble.

5.) 08 Jun 2017 18:45:24
Utter tosh hardy. i'm wondering if your a Wendy fan really

6.) 08 Jun 2017 18:23:44
And Charlie has signed for Liverpool, and the new manager was announced 378 hours ago.

7.) 08 Jun 2017 20:22:33
Martyn, I'm wondering if Hardly is really Survivor/Jeff.

8.) 10 Jun 2017 01:03:08
Ha Ha Ha glad you all missed me. i'm just a realist we will be lucky to get top 10 next season boys.

9.) 10 Jun 2017 01:17:44
cannot see us turning down £8m for Jansson and £12m for Wood that is crazy money for 2 players. Radrizzani is just another leach did nothing in January. Sorry to say we are a selling club.

01 Jun 2017 17:37:13
Abel Hernández seen at Elland Road today.

Hardy

1.) 01 Jun 2017 18:17:17
Wanted in China for around the £17m mark, doubt Hull will take a small fee and we won't pay anything like that.

31 May 2017 15:43:47
Aitor Karanka is the new Leeds manager anouncment sometime in the next few hours.

Hardy

1.) 31 May 2017 17:06:39
Why did he spit his dummy out at Boro?

2.) 31 May 2017 17:49:59
Oh wow things are sooo on the up at Leeds then -_-

3.) 31 May 2017 18:21:12
I think compared to who we had last season it's a good appointment

4.) 31 May 2017 19:32:54
Improvement on Monk definitely. For one, Aitor isn't a bottler.

5.) 31 May 2017 20:35:14
Karanka took over the best squad in the championship, spent £25m and still just scraped over the line, for me a step back but I'm happy for him to prove me wrong. SG90 didn't you complain about Monk playing too defensively? If so your in for a treat with Aitor mate, Borough scored and conceded similar to we did this year last season when they went up (Thats with Rhodes, Nugent, Stuani and Ramirez in the side, we only had Wood) and he got sacked for going too defensive in the prem too.

6.) 31 May 2017 22:29:56
Boro scored more than we did last season. Karanka didn't sign Rhodes and Downing, Gibson did and that's why Karanka nearly walked because Gibson had interfered. I'd take 30 1-0 if it meant we got out of this league. Hudds got went up with a minus goal difference fgs. I complained Monk's play for a draw tactics would cost us top 6, as we needed wins, and I was proved correct.

7.) 01 Jun 2017 00:50:54
They scored 63 we scored 61, I think calling it similar was more than fair.

8.) 01 Jun 2017 08:37:57
When is the official announcement ?

9.) 01 Jun 2017 09:05:43
Id rather win every game 1-0 and not spend 20 games in relegation form! i don't care at the moment about attacking football, we are Real Madrid and I think people need to stop thinking we are!

10.) 01 Jun 2017 10:02:02
Sorry everyone. we are not Real Madrid

11.) 01 Jun 2017 14:01:26
i don't care if we lose every game as long as we win the league.

12.) 01 Jun 2017 14:02:03
so were not playing in Cardiff on Saturday then, Cura?

13.) 01 Jun 2017 14:27:08
Leeds aren't, but I am! 😎🙊

14.) 01 Jun 2017 17:14:00
A few hours, or a few days, or just never?

15.) 01 Jun 2017 18:12:45

Season prediction 12th new manager by November and Jansonn gone in 2019.

Hardy

1.) 24 Jul 2018 06:06:24
Saiz to go first in January window.

2.) 24 Jul 2018 08:34:21
I said from the start this season would be a disaster that will set us back years again. Very sad and worried.

3.) 24 Jul 2018 17:36:08
Wotty, if we go up next year it would ruin the five year plan.

26 May 2017 12:16:48
If the next Leeds manager is Steve McClaren i will eat my Umbrella.

Hardy

1.) 26 May 2017 12:35:27
Give it to Vinnie Jones. He is worth having at the club in any role. His sheer enthusiasm makes him a serious candidate for the manager's chair.

2.) 26 May 2017 13:58:07
Hardy if Leeds appoint Mc Clown then god help us .

3.) 26 May 2017 14:13:14
Hardy if Big Mac becomes manager of Leeds what I really want to write won't make it past the Eds. Trust that clears up my view on redfaced accent changing person of brainlessness.

4.) 26 May 2017 16:08:59
So you're on the fence on him George. Personally can't stand him

15 May 2017 14:47:34
The lads went to the grosvenor casino for AJ fight didn't know they had just left the awards do feel sorry for those who paid £100+ to see them. should get some money back

Hardy

1.) 15 May 2017 16:38:20
If only they'd shown same kind of fight last 8 games of the season. Their premature exit not really boxing clever in my opinion. All because we were knocked out of the playoffs. You can count on next season though. I'll round off by saying looks like Charlie's transfer has hit the ropes!

2.) 15 May 2017 17:17:42
He told me months ago Liverpool. Obviously things change all the time in football but with the opportunity of champions league I think Liverpool will be ideal for him he wants it and they will need a good squad next season.

3.) 15 May 2017 18:10:31
Hardy, what makes Charlie think his behaviour a week ago has endeared him to Liverpool or any PL club?

4.) 15 May 2017 18:23:31
Its business george nothing to do with loyalty. i would do the same in his position. You would do the same, its a short career get as much money as you can. I would rather be a Leeds fan on my own yacht than thinking about what could of been. Blame the Premier League and the F.A not the players.

5.) 15 May 2017 19:03:52
Charlie was on £300 the first season he played at leeds plus apperance money which will have been under £500 plus if he scored say £600. then he went to Fleetwood same money. Then he came back to Leeds played all season on £2,500 maybe £3,000 with bonuses got young player of the season. Cellino offered to double his wage £5,000 on 3 year deal going up £1,000 each year so he would get £8,000 a week at 27. and everyone wonders why he did what he did. Meanwhile players not as good as him getting £20,000-100,000 a week at 22-25 years old.

{Ed001's Note - some are getting guaranteed contracts of 45k a week when they turn 17, for two years. That is kids of the age of 13 and less being offered that kind of money to join Premier League academies.}

6.) 15 May 2017 19:07:39
Because of course he's so poorly paid at Leeds. No doubt he earned 10 times what I did last year and still behaved like a spoilt brat! Poor Charlie I feel for him. not

7.) 15 May 2017 19:39:25
Hardy. It is business you are right about that but there are some things which transcend business and money. Professionalism. He could've played the final game and waved goodbye to the fans after being there so long. His risk of injury not great. He should be concerned that PL clubs will not like what he did. No one including me doubts his ability. He has class on the ball. Off it not so good.

8.) 15 May 2017 19:42:01
This always makes me laugh fans with big beer bellies saying ''i would play for free for my team''. ''i would cut my arm off for my team''. But you all sit there criticising while these young lads sacrifice from the age of 9 years old YES 9 years old sacrificing everything to be a pro footballer. Let me tell you about trying to be a pro player. you cannot go on holiday when you want, you can not eat what you want, you can not drink what you want, you are taught from a young age you need to be professional week in week out month after month year after year. When you have tried doing that tell me about staying loyal. And i'm not talking about playing for your local sunday league team i'm talking about kids being pushed to breaking point always on trial always having to prove themselves to meet the standards. And guess what? if your not good enough in the end you get tossed aside like garbage to go get a warehouse job. So no i don't blame Charlie Taylor for wanting what he's worth he deserves all he gets in the PL £30,000-£100,000 14 years service from 9 years old get in Charlie lad.

9.) 15 May 2017 19:44:15
Canada white did you sacrifice?

10.) 15 May 2017 19:51:10
Agree George me personally i would of played but will not knock him for the hard work and sacrifice for 14 years.

11.) 15 May 2017 20:15:44
Same happened with Sam he was on peanuts young player of the year Cellino ofered double wage £5,000 a week he's on £25,000 a week now at west ham. We need to accept we are not a big club anymore. we cannot compete with PL wages

12.) 15 May 2017 21:04:37
We cannot compete with pl wages under Cellino. Nobody knows how much money rads has but if he had as much money as contacts were in for a treat

13.) 15 May 2017 21:18:18
Rare I say this but have to commend Hardy on his response. It's a decent argument back by him justifying Charlie's mischievous behaviour. I have no doubts Cellino could've made a superior contract offer to Charlie and it probably angered him and his agent. Shame.

14.) 15 May 2017 21:43:15
You sound like you have some experience there Hardy - did you used to play for an academy?

15.) 15 May 2017 22:36:46
You're making it sound like £5k a week is like being on the breadline during the depression. It's insulting to fans who earn a fraction of what they do, when we're told they're low paid. Fwiw, I'd be very happy to play for Leeds for "only" £1k a week.

16.) 16 May 2017 00:00:41
Canada white and sg. Youd play for leeds for $5000 if best mate at sheff wed is on $25,000 and liverpool want to pay you $50,000. I doubt it.

17.) 16 May 2017 00:28:10
Hardy I have turned down higher paid jobs out of loyalty in the past. Bear in mind I'm a regular worker like most guys here. Poor Charlie has been paid a fortune to most of us to do what he supposedly loves. Where does it start being greed in your eyes? He has earned more in his last few seasons than most of us will in our lives and that isn't enough to keep him happy Go to the Premier League if anyone will want you and buy what you want. It's so hard for him I'm almost crying.

18.) 16 May 2017 01:13:55
Ausman yes I'd want more money of course, I'd be a liar if I said I wouldn't but would I refuse to do what I'm very well paid to do in the meantime? No I wouldn't because I have pride. I'm damn good at my job and right now I'd rather work somewhere else. I'm looking for something else but do I stop doing my share? No I don't as if I did the place wouldn't run as well and my friends would have to pick up the slack! Plain and simple he's unprofessional and acting in an imature way. Sad way to bow out and he'll be embarrassed about it when he grows up!

19.) 16 May 2017 09:34:57
As BW said the other day. The unprofessional bit came from mc or monk refusing to sell in january then not playing him in half the games. Stupid decision. Either sell or play.

20.) 16 May 2017 09:59:14
Well agree Charlie was on a miserly wage compared to what he will earn elsewhere, and it's not really relevant that he earns much more than us. And agree it could probably all have been resolved ages ago but for MC's stubbornness. But these are all separate points to the issue of him not playing in that last game. He could have said his goodbye to the fans, and we would have understood and wished him well. Now for me that one stupid decision has soured his time with us

21.) 16 May 2017 14:17:46
Ausman, I've had lesser paid jobs than previous because I've enjoyed them more and it's what I wanted to do. Also I'd never want to play for the Wendies, no matter how much they offered me, unless I scored loads of own goals of course. At the end of the day, we can't afford £40k a week, but for PL clubs that a reserve player's wage.

22.) 16 May 2017 14:17:12
thanks Aus, for me it comes down to a few things. yes they earn a lot but have a talent and rare chance in life many of us don't get but look at it this way. In any job you want to get paid what you deserve imagine if you got paid far less than other who you knew you were better than.

I was on set for new baraclay card advert and getting paid good money but if i knew the extras where getting paid more than me i'd have the hump as i should be getting paid more. Then chance to try against the best. all professional sports men want to be the best, they want to grow and test themselves why play in champ when you can play in prem maybe even champs league.

Taylor could be on fringes of england sqaud so go and try and push yoursefl lastly as said before we kept him then didn't play him for a lesser player that would of done me in, i would not work for a show if they refused to release me to a better show and then made me understudy if i was better than the new lead actor finally george I am glad your back as you do make me laugh.

liverpool will not like talyors aittude and might harm a move. did they not sign suarez after he bit a bloke to make the move go through. something he did again to get to baraclona. you have a point teams do take high moral stance.

13 May 2017 10:19:13
Stoke have ruled out a bid for Charlie Taylor and in other news Leeds rule out intrest in signing Lionel Messi

Hardy

1.) 13 May 2017 10:59:44
Gutted about the Messi deal being off. Just hope we can go and get at least 1 of Ronaldo, Bale, Neymar or Saurez now.

2.) 13 May 2017 14:48:20
Saurez is a done deal mate!

PA i see your point you are a true Leeds fan and i respect that but these so called investors are not. Its got to make sense for them to buy a club. Would you buy a house that looks good from the outside without seeing the inside first? I have no doubt potential investors have had a look but when they see ''the inside'' it makes no sense to invest. I like your passion but like i say these guys don't care they are business men. The only way to get back to where we where is to either keep bringing through the young players like Cook, Byram And Taylor and try and make a profit from them or investment from a Billionaire Leeds fan otherwise it will be many years until we can challenge on a level playing field with these teams who have no debt and own their Stadium and training facilities and can sell players for profit and bring in new players. At the momment we are relying on the players the top teams don't want and it could be like that for a few years yet. We will see what Andrea Radrizzani is all about soon but i'm betting he won't have the same passsion for Leeds as you and we will have to make do with loans and free agents.

Battymatty how do you come to the conclusion we are 5/6 biggest club in England? If your talking about who has won the most trophys you will find that we are 16th with the likes of Blackburn forrest Shef wed sunderland and west brom all bigger than us. We are the 4th best supported team in England but that counts for nothing 1D have a large fanbase but there music is crap. We have no money so at the moment we are a mid table skint club who has to sell there best players to pay old debts so who in there right mind would invest in us?

P A don't you think investors have already been intrested in buying LUFC? We owe too much money out that's why nobody will touch us we haven't got a stadium or a training ground we are a selling club its so obvious. Not a big club anymore sorry to say.

Hardy
