Is there any truth in the fact that Newcastle going up mean that their parachute payments will be split amongst the rest of the team in the league ?, if so it could be the difference in taylor staying and maybe pontus

Long time lurker with my 1st post here Can anyone see luke murphy coming back next season and featuring ? will his loan be a kick up the arse or a stepping stone for his exit, thoughts ?

I'd like to see him back, I'm sure Mr Monk and his staff can get him in the right frame of mind. He can play the good passes that we've been missing, maybe even chip in with a goal or ten :)

Monk just didn't seem to fancy him at all this season - he never even seemed to get a chance so i'm guessing he will be moved on. shame as i liked Murphs and he has had a decent season with Burton.

Stockdale is a leeds lad so that could swing it for him, always a shame to see a player help the team to success then let go, who do you think could cut it in our team in the PL ?

I have read that he has his fingers in multiple pies including quatar's development in football before the world cup meaning that he may not be offing a lot to us in the time being but who knows, the guy must be a very useful person to have around given his experience at Madrid
apparently his appointment is coinciding with a Chinese member of the board stepping down, if that means anything to anybody
