Can someone tell me what positions our new signings & close to signing players play in?
1.) Silvestri - 23 year old keeper. 6'5 so a big lad
Rossini - 25 year old Swiss centre back. Ball playing defender
Bianchi - 25 year old central midfielder. Former Italy U21
Doukara - 22 year old powerhouse. Not too prolific but a raw talent
Other players linked
Berardi - 19 year old from Juventus. Scored a lot of goals last season on loan at Sassuolo :)
2.) 13 Jul 2014 09:27:41
Petagna is the 19 year old striker from Milan. Berardi is a 25 year old right back.
After watching the spectacle that is Brazilian defending in the World Cup, we might be better off losing out on this player. I think we might be better off sticking to the Italian method of defending for the foreseeable future.
No thanks, we have had enough negative publicity over the last number of years, why do we show interest in these players when other clubs run a mile? These are the kind of players who impress to earn a contract then go back to their old troublesome ways.

I wonder how much attention does BMD give to the Opta stats that he gets. Surely the way forward is to look for solid leader type players as the spine in the team balanced out with young hard working pacy players that will cover great areas of the pitch. As we stand I feel our team is similar to the Hammers in the Premiership, will always be in the bottom half of the league looking over our shoulder at the big drop while we continue to play hoofball.
I agree with CRMD above, if we are seriously thinking about moving forward I think we need to move on players like White & Lees however harsh it may seem. Both are decent lads who have come through the ranks but they are not strong enough to get us higher up the league. I can't fathom why BMD stuck with him all season as IMO he was probably the one who unbalanced our back four in most games.
Hi Ed, long time visitor, first time poster, keep up the great work.
Here we are praising Liverpool fans for clapping us on to the pitch as Champions & they are also applauded for the great welcome they give to their returning ex players. What bugs me is why do our fans have to boo & slag off of our ex players when they return to Elland Road? There were some great players like Gary Mc who served our club so well yet he got booed by our fans when he returned as part of a Liverpool team. I think we should give credit where credit is due to those players that did well & were proud to wear our badge.
{Ed013's Note - Thanks buddy}
