Hate to say it but in the eyes of players we are not a big club anymore. We as fans remember the history and the good times in the top leagues but players look at the here and now and at the moment we look chaotic with Cellino in charge and no where near being a top 6 club let alone promoted and at this level that is what the good players look at. Until we can get a good chairman, one who is not in the news more than the team is a good start then we will not attract the type of player we need to improve. Harsh words I know but unfortunately the truth.

we are not a big club, since 1996 our chairman have been destroying this club and after 20 years of bad chairman our current one is finally putting things back in place, we are not a big club but thanks to MC we are getting there but it will be slow, 20 years of bad decisions things will not happen over night.

We'll never be a big club? with a comment and attitude like that we never will be.

we might never be a big club again, that would not bother me or change my love for my club. I know people who support millwall and leyton orient, who never were or ever will be big clubs, so they are happy with small victories and I think that is a good mind set. If we become great again wonderful if not let's just love our club and stop whinging like little kids (was going to say girls but that seemed sexist and I am a modern man now)

Evans isn't going to be our manager next season regardless of if he gets offered a job at a different club or not. Cellino has already lined up a replacement apparently and the only reason Evans hasn't been sacked already is that this new guy can't join us this season.

I've heard he may get a stay of execution till the end of the season as although he wants to sack him now its not long till the end of the season when he was going to dump him anyway. He has someone already lined up for next season apparently but they can't come early. Having said that Cellino isn't known for sticking with a decision so expect to see Evans sacked next week!

I appreciate what he has done for the club but still feel it might be best if he now moves on. This is the second time he has come out and said he regretted buying the club, or something similar, and I just don't think his heart is with us anymore and he just gives off that air of not being bothered about the club at times. I get the feeling that he didn't quite have the full picture when he bought the club as to how badly it was run and where the finances were going, with respect to ER and TA and now he has a better idea of the club its not as easy a resurrection job as he thought. Add to that his dodgy management decisions and his ability to say completely the wrong thing at the right time and I hate to say it but I think its time for a change. As I said at the start though I appreciate what he has done to steady the ship and save the club from another administration just that it might be time for him to cash in and someone else to come in and give us that final push we need.

I would say he deserves a chance but there were a lot of rumours a couple of months ago saying Evans would be let go in the summer and MC had someone lined up to take over. If these rumours were true and MC does want someone else next year unfortunately I don't think Evans has done enought to save himself. MC has a bit of a warped mind when it comes to what he wants in a manager and if he feels somethings not right he will change things.

There are three or four names who are higher than Evans in the pecking order to get the Celtic job. A mate of mine who is a Celtic fan says the name he is hearing the most being linked to the job is Neil Lennon coming back as he has just left Bolton and he was quite successful last time.

As its the football league they can't give any direct punishement to Leicester as they are in the Premiership, same as QPR. If I'm right it can only be a defered punishment till next time they are in the Championship and so will probably be a fine.

{Ed001's Note - different situations. What happened with QPR is completely irrelevant.}

My thinking is what's the harm in trying out a few different combinations in the coming games. I think we are fairly safe from relegation so it's not like there is much to lose apart from a few places in the league and maybe a bit of prize money associated with that. Although having said that I don't know the difference in how much money you get for finishing 15th as apposed to 19th. Why not try the different players and if they're no good we know to ditch them in the summer.
