tabanelli must have signed on loan for leeds

@taba90: i am ready for this new fantastic experience! com on leeds!

posted 1 day ago

looks a bit of a play boy. don't know much about him.

LUFCLUKE

1.) Not sure how true but read on another media site that it wasnt sanctioned by someone of authority within gfh so therefor null and void

2.) He's equivalent to a league one player!!

3.) Got to be better than Habbibbibbooou!

4.) So are most of the others.

5.) Listed on squad on OS

6.) 02 Feb 2014 15:37:49
So much for support. I don't see us brimming over with talent at the moment and I hear the Cagliari fans are not impressed that both have left
He may be garbage but I'll judge after 4-5 games not before

7.) "He's equivalent to a league one player!"

I'm guessing you're either a scout in the lower Italian leagues OR have never seen him play and are going by his rating on FIFA 14?

8.) Who cares how good he is. he is not a bmd signing so chances are he will not suit his style of play and unbalance the team . in every successful side the manager decides on signings

9.) He can't be much worse than the Warnock hardwood.Plus our side ain't brimming with talent, remember Rochdale and Wednesday.Behind every successful side the manager buys the players, I think you will find we are not a successful side.So before you pass judgement, give the lad a chance.

10.) He's on os look at players but no photo

11.) I will see how he does but i'm not going to go wet myself just because he's an Italian.

Stewart and Kebe are hopefully getting match fit and getting some form. Ross Knows where the net is. Rudy playing more like we know he can. Byram starting to regain himself after injury. Murphy and Mowatt are young its expected that occasionally their form will dip. There is a team there being forged by the manager.

It doesn't want ripping apart because some fans get excited when they hear a foreign name

fawksey

12.) He may not be a McDermott signing but let's hope the team welcome him and aren't awkward, after all it wasn't his decision to be sent over. His style may be advantageous when playing against teams that are better at retaining possession so he could be useful, I think we lack a real ball player in the middle so let's hope he offers some composure on the ball. Mr MaGoo442

13.) Don't worry guys and gals

Nobody is asking you to "wet yourself"

Was only posting a rumour as there was no official transfers completed on dd

But, you chronic bed wetters be sure to have a supply of adult size nappies. just incase he is good. ;)

14.) 02 Feb 2014 22:50:39
signing players who are from Serie B to Calgari a few week ago you can tell McDermott did not sign him the Italian is going to use Leeds to test players from Calgari and as soon as they become good will be recalled we have good players in the academy we should develop them not sign rubbish Italians I hope that he fails the football league fit and proper test which he will 2 fraud cases in football his got no chance what's he going to do when he gets refused FA testing viciously snatch his player from Leeds o dear can tell McDermott did not sign him no doubt McDermott will be forced to play him even if he isn't good enough

15.) I for one think this man is a good business man, not many of us is making 170 mill euros a year. So do not underestimate this man and think he bought Leeds United to be a farmer club for Cagliari. He sees the potensial here to become once again a big english football club that can make itout in europeen top football as well.

16.) 03 Feb 2014 08:46:16

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
thats not true, what about taylor and clough?

17.) Has cellino walked away, he has flown to Miami apparently?

18.) Hope so

19.) Well I don't know anything about him, but we should give him a chance. Remember the likes of Ankergren and Somma were nobodies when we signed them and they turned out to be alright. I'm hoping that there is a lot of flair and creativity in his game, ala Del Piero or Pirlo. Hopefully he's as good as some of those players Watford unearthed.

One thing that is really difficult to understand with the Sam Byram saga after yesterday.

Why on earth would Evans play him if we were to sell? Now MC isn't daft enough to let him go for free in the summer.

However, should he go to any of the premier league clubs, I imagine he would be a fringe player to begin with. This would include playing him in the cup runs to get him some first team minutes.
With the league cup already at the semi finals, that only leaves the FA cup. Sam is now cup tied in the FA cup.

This, coupled with the obvious risk of injury, can anyone else see any sense in picking him? Especially when botaka didn't even get a shirt. Would be the obvious game for Jordan to get some minutes under his belt.

I can only assume that MC seems to think he will get a half decent tribunal fee compared to his current market value (or what clubs will pay) .

Any light shed upon this situation would be appreciated.

1.) 10 Jan 2016 10:22:53
Maybe I'm just over simplifying things here, but perhaps SE is playing him because Sam is turning out some good performances. I think we all accept Sam will be gone sooner rather than later, but SE is weighing up the risk of playing him and risking injury, versus having an "in-form" Sam making a difference to the team performance. Taking the points whilst we can, and whilst other players "bed-in". Just a thought?

2.) 10 Jan 2016 11:14:39
No idea of how the tribunal system works out levels of compo so can't really comment on that but maybe the offers (if there are any) for Sam are not enough to make MC sell and he knows we will get more at tribunal like you've said Luke. I agree with Softie though. If Sam is playing well, use him whilst we can. His performances have not been affected by speculation and if anything they've improved, so I say get the most from him whilst we can. I am surprised he played yesterday as now he's cup-tied.

MM.

3.) 10 Jan 2016 11:23:47
It's such a tricky situation. We clearly haven't received a high enough offer as yet, and the offers should increase if he plays well for us - and we benefit too in the short term. The only danger is that he switches off again, but I don't think that's too likely to happen.

4.) 10 Jan 2016 13:02:50
Probably any deal will include a loan back for the rest of the season.

After the game at Derby.

I was heading back to the train station when who pulls up at the side of me in a Range Rover? That's right. Massimo himself being chauffeured along. I shouted him and game a good old fashioned "Leeds Leeds Leeds" salute.

I said "come on massimo" to which he echoed my salute. Couldn't believe my luck. Facetimed (other video chat apps are available) some of the lads up in Wakefield and got him to do it again on camera. What a day.

I arrived at the train station to see massimo on his own waiting for the train. His chat was minimal but he took the time to pose for a selfie with me and to show me his mobile telephone cover - this was of course a Leeds United one!

We all have our opinions. But I have to say. An all round decent bloke.

Can anyone tell me what those horses next to my post are?

{Ed001's Note - you have received awards for playing the Flat Out Horse Racing game mate. The trophies show on your profile and next to your posts. There will be more of those for things such as posting on the sites in the future.}

3.) 31 Aug 2015 19:48:02
Oh and George. You should alter your name to George Lucas potentially? By depol?

4.) 31 Aug 2015 21:45:49
Thanks ed. is there any reason my pic is landscape rather than portrait? Thanks again. Luke

{Ed033's Note - With the avatar pic, the uploader changes the width to 60 pixels and then calculated the height. I'll take a look at your avatar pic.

5.) 01 Sep 2015 12:32:59
Did you ask him whether he's paid tax on that Range Rover?

6.) 01 Sep 2015 14:53:26
I'm not sure the moderators would agree to a name change. Beside, there's already one Lucas on here. He posted above. Oh and it's deed poll.

Lol @ God

Can anyone explain to my why the leaked pics of the new home kit have gfh as the main sponsor? Surely not?!

LUFCLUKE

1.) 16 Jun 2015 22:04:00
You're right Luke, there will be no sponsor. These images have been on t'interweb for months and are fake. Why would a new top secret shirt be hung up in a sports shop for all and sundry to see when we were still contracted to Macron in February? Kappa have only recently been in negotiations. It was obvious with Cellino's connections we'd be wearing Kappa this year, so not hard to put a fake together.

MM

2.) 16 Jun 2015 23:17:42
Thank god. It's a pretty nifty looking fake by all accounts though! Top photoshopping 👍

Passing game was far better today than in previous games under previous coaches/managers. New squad, new style of football. Give it time and this will work. Not saying next week or week after. the first half let a lot to be desired. Having said that the passes were short, direct and fluent. but that second half was a joy to watch. Both LM's of brum, Shea and gray. Caused us the damage today. May have been a slightly different story had byram played. Optimistic for our season after today's performance. though.

LUFCLUKE

1.) All that and Adryan to come - just like watching Brazil (the old Brazil not the rubbish at the last world cup)

On a plus note. At least Ross will take his fly tipping with him to Fulham.

The streets of Leeds will once again be clean(ish)!

Hearing it’s Joe Hart and this has been planned for a few weeks before one or 2 other clubs sniffed around. Should be complete soon (end of next week) though.

Well done ed!

I too wish I had known as I am based in horsey town (Newmarket) and only a short bike ride away from Cambridge.

Could of called over for a beer.

Suffolk whites. I too would like to get to a few more games but having migrated south a few years ago too find it difficult.

Congrats once again Ed

{Ed013's Note - Thanks Luke, appreciate it}

I agree. Waaaay to dodgy a goalkeeper. He needs time to mature behind a solid number one.

Look at the previous gk's we've had over the past years.

Martyn, Robinson, Sullivan, ankergen, kasper.

Can you really compare Silvestre to any of these (other than the 2 whilst we were in league 1 to which I would say he is on par at best) ?

Surely we need to be moving forward and to have a goalkeeper that commands from the back and the defence the rest of the team has full confidence is is imperative.
