Mesliers agent rumoured to be making noises regarding big teams (West ham) casting an eye on our keeper as a potential replacement for fabianski. Suppose his agent is doing his job to try get Meslier a longer and improved contract at Leeds.

1.) 05 Mar 2021 15:22:52
Big teams West Ham. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

2.) 06 Mar 2021 00:39:00
Tbf Messer, his agent said he was happy at Leeds and would expect him to spend the next few seasons at Leeds before big clubs would come in (he said Real not the Hammers too) , he might then move but if we made Europe who knows. He also said that us and Chelsea wanted him but he recommended us as he had a better route to first team. Seems more like an agent doing what's best for the player not his wallet for once.

{Ed077's Note - he also said Meslier won't move on from Leeds regardless of which club came calling to be sat on the bench and would rather continue to get game time at Leeds. But I guess that doesn't make as big a headline.

With the votes in the rest of the EFL for promotion and relegation and PPG deciding this should the league not be able to continue, then promotion would be guaranteed now for us on that basis. I am glad if we can gain promotion now on the pitch but hope we don't mess it up. Many people out there hoping we do! So I am looking forward to the restart, but honestly going to have a squeaky bum until it's finished.

1.) 10 Jun 2020 15:07:15
I think more would like us to muck it up than see us do it so hopefully we can show them all Mezzer!

15 Feb 2020 16:59:14
Thank god! Let's hope today draws a line in the sand, and we can now kick on. Think today the result gods have been smiling πŸ˜ƒ on us, big thumbs up to Barnsley, maybe Fulham getting the gitters. A few others now joining the play off push.

1.) 15 Feb 2020 17:26:09
Three points next match, and we are looking much better. Time to ramp up the pressure on the other teams, rather than the other way around! πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ‘πŸ»πŸ»πŸ»πŸ».

09 Jan 2020 21:17:58
So we got a medical pencilled in for another young player that will be added to the one for the future brigade. When is this club going to enter a transfer window and get a bloody player we can use now!

1.) 10 Jan 2020 03:34:00
Mezz Those players cost big bucks. The weakest player in our first team on performance this season is probably Costa and he going to costa Β£15m. Finding players good enough to shove a current player out of the 18 matchday squad will not be cheap. When you reach the summit of the Championship after nearly 30 games you tend to have good players worth money so acquiring even better ain't going to be cheap. I stand by my predo. Che Adams will arrive before the end of January.

2.) 10 Jan 2020 10:51:07
Geirge hope you are right with your prediction about Adams .

3.) 10 Jan 2020 11:11:45
They don’t seem to be giving up on getting him, so let’s hope Jenkins hasn't secretly joined the Saints board! Getting Adams would be the positive sign we all want!

4.) 10 Jan 2020 12:57:51
Would you take Madine as a cheap option, no fee and would presume low wages.

For someone to play 2nd fiddle to Bamford is MB isn't willing to give Edmundson a go.

07 Jan 2020 08:18:15
Don't really care that we are out of the FA Cup this season. First half we showed that we aren't far off premiership standard. If we go up then more than a good chance we will strengthen and be able to be competitive in that league. Worrying though is The VAR system and the standard of the referees using it. I thought championship referees were bad enough but that guy last night was a new level of carp!

Get Roberts off!

1.) 27 Feb 2021 18:36:44
LLorente not impressed rolling around like a little girl then get up wants to be a man unbelievable, red card if I was the referee.

2.) 27 Feb 2021 19:02:19
Roberts should'nt make the bench, never mind start him.

3.) 27 Feb 2021 19:27:03
White all Llorente was doing was what they did all game. Been a very effective diving team ever since Smith started coaching.

4.) 27 Feb 2021 19:48:44
Canada don’t disagree they had one but nothing like LLorente can’t stand it both should have gone, MB let them score a free goal for fair play, he should have replaced him, and they should replace there’s.

24 Feb 2021 10:44:49
So Southamptons Ralph Rabbit-hutch thought we were nasty but clever, did he not see the stats from this match that they committed more fouls? Suppose he got to blame something for his teams had run. One thing I've noticed about Bielsa is he never seems to blame others for a defeat, he may say a few long winded things but always takes the flack on himself.

1.) 24 Feb 2021 11:41:35
I’m not sure it was a criticism really. It might have been but I read it as a backhanded compliment and a criticism of his team.

2.) 24 Feb 2021 12:07:04
In His sky interview u could tell he was fuming, could of bleated the pen (which was a dive) , or the goal, (which was a great decision) , but said they gave up 2nd half, tried to go to toe with a Bielsa team, (good luck with that) and were knackered.

3.) 24 Feb 2021 12:59:12
Take that as a compliment better to be nasty and clever with three points than great nieve and lose

My biggest problem with Leeds is we ain’t nasty and smart enough . but more of last night will make me very happy

A bad ugly win goes further than a great pretty one over the course of a season.

4.) 24 Feb 2021 14:15:12
Maybe Ralph has been watching some of our games under The Don with his nasty but clever analogy!

23 Feb 2021 19:58:44
That'll do!, Dallas showed Roberts what to do when a ball is cut back to you in the opponents area.

08 Feb 2021 21:55:06
3 more points towards safety. Was nervous for this game, palace on a winning run and Tony cascarino saying on talk sport that palace have too much for us, another great pundit!

1.) 08 Feb 2021 22:10:22
Let’s face it, Tony Cascarino is probably the least knowledgeable pundit out there, nice guy but never calls it right, so wasn’t too concerned when he said that.
What a good performance and completely managed the game.

2.) 08 Feb 2021 22:11:03
Mezz As I opined a couple months ago, just 1 more win will do it now for retention of PL status. No way are either Cottagers or Blades finishing the season with more than 34 points.

3.) 08 Feb 2021 22:28:40
Aye, just like Jason Cundy saying we are like a Pub team!

{Ed047's Note - Cundy is a knuckle dragging moron!

4.) 08 Feb 2021 23:08:49
He's got knuckles? I thought he over used at least five of them whilst playing for Chelsea.

5.) 08 Feb 2021 22:39:07
Steady Ed some morons can still serve a useful purpose in life where as Cundy doesn’t.

{Ed047's Note - good point well made, my bad!🀣

03 Feb 2021 20:17:59
Back to poor defending again, staggering how we go from the performance against Leicester to this one. And didn't our players test their studs on this new pitch before kick off. This games gone now, not going to be our night.

1.) 03 Feb 2021 20:24:03
We haven't done that badly really they have just taken their chances better than we have. Could have been different with the rub of the green.

2.) 03 Feb 2021 20:27:35
Bambi on ice springs to mind.

3.) 03 Feb 2021 20:32:44
Mez ever heard of the fat lady singing. Agree defending has been shocking, but we are far from out of this, I'm going 2 2 MOT.

4.) 03 Feb 2021 21:28:40
Gave ourselves too much to do.

5.) 03 Feb 2021 21:31:44
Not to be, but I thought we played ok. At least Burnley and Fulham lost. We could do with a good home win on Monday.

6.) 03 Feb 2021 21:56:04
We stuffed them on all but what counts.
Hit the woodwork twice and Olson made 5 or so good saves.
Poor defending from Cooper has cost us 3 pts never mind 1.

7.) 03 Feb 2021 22:41:12
Totally agree Canada, Liam totally exposed for Gilfi's goal, I know it's easy for us to be critical here but it was a very basic goal and as a pro he really should be reading the game an awful lot better, way way too easy a goal too concede.

Grealish I think will play, Smith trying to bluff us that he will still be out injured. His injury wasn't too bad they left him out as a precaution last time. Hope he's wareing padded shorts, because he will be on his backside with his arms out for most the match.

Can you imagine if grealish plays on Saturday with that pitch, at least the groundsman won't have to flatten the divets.
