Journalist who has links with PNE saying Jordan Hugill is unlikely to end up at Leeds United this transfer window.

shock!

They are asking too much for AR. Other clubs have already been knocked back for £8m offers.

Sky sports transfer rumours linking Chris Martin of Derby with move to Leeds. Even if only a loan move this guy knows where the net is, he was great last season for fulham.

He's a skill full player, and has been prolific at times, but is currently not playing first team football for a reason Mezzer? This is for a second half push for glory, so players on form with a proven record in giving everything every game is critical at this time. Madine or Hugil far better options at this time for me.

2.) 08 Jan 2018 15:28:30
With our luck we'll probably sign the fellA from Coldplay instead

3.) 09 Jan 2018 09:55:05
He's better than Grot.

Denton been recalled from his loan spell at port Vale. I gather he played a bit there, but was overlooked at times. Could it be we will play him on Sunday in the cup match with the view to giving him a run out at LB in the first team. Moving Barack further forward into midfield?

1.) 03 Jan 2018 16:30:10
Think it's more likely Bera will be at right back.

2.) 03 Jan 2018 16:54:40
Tyler cup tied. 44th President not a registered player. Otherwise top post.

Got to love predictive text

Can't understand the wish to play Berardi in midfield . Unless it's ammo for the " TC, play players in their correct positions " brigade when it goes wrong He's a right back In an ideal world cover/competition for luchiano ayling our normal sarf American fullback In other news. Vela . Depends on fee. Adam clayton and Bono . not sure. Don't think he fits our " plan" Fully expect 2 spaniards, 1 Dutch lad and an u12 French kid to arrive this month Along with a month of "vierra, he no for sale" as Bournemouth and Southampton wave lots of cash our way * replace vierra with Jansson
Saiz On alternate days Oh and a deadline day raid by Norwich on one of our u23s who they later sell for £30m January. A month of hope and fear

This half going to be like the Alamo. TC gone defensive, we going to try defend a point .

Okane! Another one we are losing for 3 matches, what is up with our players. Going to be a tough second half now.

Marriott is valued at 7 mil by Peterborough and it's reported both us and Villa are after him. Having more than one team trying to sign him will keep his asking price high. I doubt Peterborough will get 7 mil for him being offered by either team, but think we will be priced out of the move. Marriott will probably end up at Villa or can see him going to Sunderland, don't think we have any hope of signing him, would like him though.

1.) 11 Jan 2018 09:51:33
We can out bid Sunderland. They don't have a pot to pee in.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 14:28:17
I believe we can get Marriott for around 5m and Maddison for 3m. Not like we don't have the money. Wood, Taylor sales brought in 22m.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 17:54:15
Villa have to sell to buy, they're not in the best of financial health, so, let's be having him . and his mate. M and M, very nice for the new year;)

Just been reading up on the new guy De Bock, He plays better as a left back rather than an attacking full back like Taylor. Played well for a time at Brugge but new coach changed the style from a back 4 to a 3, and De Bock was frozen out. Hopefully he settles quickly at Leeds as he was sent off 3 times in his first 6 months at Brugge. Can see him playing left back and Berardi moving over to the right.

berardi sent off twice in first 5 games, look at him now he's one of 3 players the fans still adore (jansson and ayling the other two)

Come on guys, we have been asking for players with championship experience now we go out and get one he is being slated as second rate. Think some need a reality check, maybe we should persevere with klich! Let's at least give the guy a chance before passing judgement, yes he may once have been brought by orta, but don't let this cloud your judgement.

He has experience of PL and the championship, we have been asking for players like this so come on guys give him a chance. Maybe this guy just needs a fresh challenge and Leeds could be it. With the choice we have in our squad at present, i am pleased to have him.

Ulloah would be a class signing. Send Lasogga back to free up his wages and get Ulloah on the payroll. Let's hope this is more than just a rumour.

Not heard much about him, But if he is as good as some are saying, I say sign him up. His experience at this level is what we need. Please then go and sign an experienced striker!

He is highly rated, but would be one for the future. probably the case of buy him now before his stock rises and would cost more. Can't see him being one for the first team right now. Berardi can do a job at right back so would be best to leave coyle at Fleetwood until the end of the season, he will learn more than sitting on our bench.

When you guys keep saying shelling out top fees, do you mean paying the current fees for players who are able to preform to the standard of the league we are in? I believe we can strengthen with players who know this league without paying out a fortune. What has happened to the transfer fees we have received this season? Maybe if we slow down on our recruitment on players for the future who we sign on long contracts but show no sign of being anywhere near helping the current squad. Not really hearng many fans saying we need to spent over the top fees. Yes we For now are still in with a chance of the playoffs and like all our fans would love this to come true. But Unless things change round quickly then its looking less likely. But as some of you guys have said the bigger picture is the future. So Happy days.

PA, wish we could answer the question are we going to come good or fizzle out this season. I guess we would all hope we would come good in the remaining 19 games of this season, nothing would please us as Leeds fans more to see this team give it a good go. What should we realistically expect? This season really has been a rollercoaster ride of a season so far. Yes I've been guilty of expectation and optimisum, and more recently "negativety" and doubt. I take my hat off to my fellow fans who can stay continuously positive, I agree with some off their points even! Building for the future makes sense, but to build for a future you must live in the present and deal with the issues of the day. Sitting back and ignoring your weakness on the premise that in the future we may be good is folly. I don't believe That I have heard many on this site say we should break the bank, but many agree on where the team needs investing in for now. If we wait for the promising future, we are in danger of possibly losing the few good players we have to better teams
