Heard from a few different places that leeds are battling it out with a number of championship and premiership teams for the signature of free agent Matthew Etherington who was with Stoke last season. Would be a decent signing.
1.) Id be very happy. Good player, also seen him on soccer a.m SEEMED a good personality and good attitude plus experienced but not too old. What source is this buddy?
2.) Never happen too old too much on wages too much baggage, end of!

Heard from a few different places that leeds are eyeing Richie Towell of Dundalk as their first non foreign signing.
Not sure how much truth is in this. Also never seen him play. Has anyone got any idea what he is like?
1.) I think you will find Dundalk is foreign

Hes the best player in the league in my opinion, a lot people over here want him to be called up for the irish squad, he's really good
3.) Sorry Shm but he is foreign he's Irish and seen him play many times live underage for Ireland where he stood out quite a lot but never reached the heights that was expected of him.
Having said that he's been quality in the Airtricty league (I know it's a very low standard) but he still has potential and would get for next to nothing and would accept relatively low wages.
4.) My friend is on pre season with Sunderland in Portugal and quite a few people have to them to take a look at him.
5.) We need championship proven players now. We've signed 2/3 unknowns already. Could do with a few players with premier league experience too.
6.) I'm sure Stuart Taylor isn't foreign.
7.) I like to keep an eye on the league of Ireland myself and from over here in the league of Ireland he is very highly rated.i know he played for Hibernian but was relised but is one of the star players here.id give him a chance because I think he deserves it.

Leeds lining up a move for former villa striker Nathan Delfouenso.
1.) He was recently on trial at Blackpool and scores twice and set up two in a four goal win, if we are in for him we need to move to get a trial sorted. A god player and could do a job at champ level but is he the explosive finisher we need to replace 44?
