Brian back in for Murphy. Says we are wasting him and he would be good for reading. Wonder if he wants eight others while he is at it!

I think cook and mowat have release clauses I their contracts it's the same one byram had.

2.) 18 Mar 2016 20:39:39
It can't be the same one, how can Byram have had a release clause for Cook or Mowat?

They may have their OWN clause, but then it wouldn't be the same one?

Our 'owners' are approaching all current commercial partners / suppliers to the club and looking to 'sell' service extensions and seeking money up front. It is all £500k here and £250 there but doesn't bode well for this summers transfers. The story is "everything is going to plan but much slower than they expected and they are not happy with the way the club is being run commercially [bye bye Mr Harvey] but the future is bright so give us some money"

TeeCee

1.) We need some good positive news soon, my brothers an Udders fan and he's driving me up the wall. Please please release some funds for BM before all the players worth having have been snapped up. This is getting very very serious now.

2.) Total fan fiction.

Steve parkin is in Dubai now trying to raise £50m. £20 million to buy out GFH [100%] £20 million for transfers and £10 million for ER/TA. He is seeking backing from Qatar based individuals and organisations. GFH are still short of the final payment to Master Bates due on 01/05

TeeCee

1.) What about the other 10% sold to the IIB a couple of days ago then?

2.) He needs to get a wriggle on. His due diligence has run out.

3.) 04 Apr 2013 18:32:29
I would have thought TA and ER would cost nearer to 20 mill.

4.) Steve's a mad leeds fan (bad golfer as I beat him!) he will be doing his best to buy it he's just as pig sick as we are about the way its run! Keep going Stevie Boy!

5.) 04 Apr 2013 18:43:16
There is no final payment. GFHC owe Bates nothing and have bought the club outright. That rumour died a month ago.

6.) That's right

7.) 50million? that's not enough for DoL.
He'll spunk that by breakfast.
Aren't we still paying Robbie Fowler?lol

8.) 04 Apr 2013 21:15:47
Gfh sell a club they bought for 23 million for 20 million great work.
They have sold 10% so can only sell 90% which they wouldn't sell that for 20 million.
They value club at 30 million parkin will still only attempt to take 51% which would probably cost 17 million .

9.) I don't want Leeds to be bought by someone who doesn't have the money himself. Another Ridsdale on the way.

10.) Final payment to Bates? A national newspaper has already had to print a correction that GFH has been paid Bates already (last yeat when the club was sold - funnily enough). They own 90%, 10% owned by IIB

When a business is sold as a going concern the new owners undertake to meet the ongoing and due liabilities. The (very) extensive due diligence process will have picked up what needed to be provided for and you will find the release of funds will have been planned from the outset. The TV money from the FA cup and gate receipts from the replay would not have been factored in as it would have been prudent to assume the worse. It is likely therefore the business (our beloved club) will be in a healthier position than would have been budgeted for.

TeeCee

1.) Just hope we can get out of this nightmare

2.) The tv money from the FA cup will be used to either pay Bates or reduce the money borrowed by GFH to " buy" Leeds. Why are GFH asking for extra investment if they had the TV money free to use.

3.) Depends if you've accounted for drop in ticket sales this year might cancel each other out

4.) 21 Feb 2013 18:40:21
@reply2. I assume GFH are asking for extra investment because they are an investment bank, that is the very nature of there job.

5.) Why do some still think money is owed to Bates it isn't the takeover was COMPLETED in Dec. There are no monies outstanding I have posted before there is no way you would give up your position as the main share holder and Executive chairman on the board at LUFC on the promise of payment. Forget that story its false and a net rumour. The FA approved this and again the directors were assessed as fit and proper to conduct the actual business of running a club and had to prove the funds were available to buy LUFC.

New investors will generate revenue for the owners and increase LUFC stock values. Investment banks are very shrewd with their own investments and like most banks always risk averse, this isn't a whim or something they have managed to convince their own board may or may not work. GFH will have a structured investment plan for LUFC. It may be short term but they won't flip us without approval from their own board and investors. Its not private individuals that own LUFC its an Investment bank and they are bound by financial parameters and governed by their parent company and own board. No one knows what their strategy is we can only assume they want to make their own company money and this is most likely with the club having more success.

Are existing season ticket holders retaining last season's one or are new ones being issued?

Don't get me wrong I would love Mr Redfearn to succeed and become the greatest Leeds manager ever. I don't think he will succeed though and for one key reason. Mr Redfearn is clearly a great primary school headmaster. What he is not however is a Secondary school one. Cook, Mowatt, Byram et al have known him since before they started to shave. Not only will they idolise him they will believe everything he says. Dealing with adults and more mature and world-wise players is a completely different task. I truly hope I am proved wrong.

TeeCee

1.) 09 Jan 2015 13:13:17
You will not be. He doesn't have the IQ to succeed.

2.) 09 Jan 2015 16:26:29
It's difficult for Redfearn when he does not decide which players come into the club.In my opinion I think he wants players with championship experience, but it's not his decision.

3.) 09 Jan 2015 18:49:29
Good analogy Tee Cee. I hope you are proved wrong too. but.

Mmmm Darren Bent gone to Brighton. Not likely you'll see many Brighton shirts with his name on the back. Made me wonder if there are any other names that match with a locations infamy. Scally to take over Liverpool?

It signed me out and I couldn't be bothered significant back in unless some amazing comment was on and this is it. All I want to say is hahahhaha

The omens are grim.

17th in table, 17th game on Saturday and sat on 17 points.

TeeCee

1.) Best win 17-0 then

2.) Its hard seeing us score 17 goals for the rest of the season.

3.) 06 Nov 2014 11:54:16
And 17 is MC's unlucky number!! 👍

4.) Ever the eternal optimist smitch lol. But I do know where you are coming from :)

5.) 07 Nov 2014 00:00:15
The number 17 is unlucky in Italy. Massimo Cellino may well not be there on Saturday. HOWEVER in Tarot the card symbolises Hope (for a thumping victory). Mysticflipperlincs :)

6.) 07 Nov 2014 15:21:26
It is quite obvious then that Ishmael Miller will score for Blackpool

Signing of the season so far? Our keeper looks and performs like a star player. His performances suggest the defence is still learning to play with one another but if our CB, s keep playing with the skill and passion shown we are going to be back to the days of woodgate and Ferdinand! Just need Mel and Tony back. or Paul(s) and Terry/Trevor

TeeCee

Why?. He has failed to get into a 'shockingly poor' Sunderland team. there seems to be an unexplained desire to have back what we have let go and who isn't wanted by the club they are with.

The majority of the clubs headcount are contracted by the outsourcing organisations Mr Bates rallied before departure to take the last few crumbs available. Catering, stewarding, cleaning and so on. 70 from what is left will be a tough act to carry out

I know the organisation who fitted the concealed cameras. They were told by Hague that guests in the Directors box and lounge had been reported playing with Colombian marching powder and he wanted evidence captured. That was Hague's story anyway

Can't remember to be truthful but haven't our last few games away at the coal yard been in the evenings?

We only beat Blackpool in mid-week games so maybe a Saturday will see us muller the. Like they have done to us the last few seasons.

I wouldn't play any of the loan players. Why bother? I know we can't put out a team of kids as we need to be fair to the other clubs down the bottom but a couple would make sense
