Reading we made 27 million in player sales this summer.

So much for youth getting a chance and as many said would have a big part to play this season. Dallas over shackleton have a feeling Dallas will start a lot of games in other positions over a youngster.

1.) 10 Aug 2019 22:47:08
I would like to see Gotts at right back instead of Dallas as i think he deserves to be there. Proper wing back who can defend. To be fair LUFC that was quite a passive post for Wex.

2.) 11 Aug 2019 09:32:30
I want to see alioski and Shackleton on either wingback role, they have more speed and will get forward more and create the space we need.

3.) 11 Aug 2019 12:46:05
hopefully Luke slots back and returns to form, Bazza LB + Ben +Liam centre, that IMO isvour strongest defensive lineup at the minute. can't wait to see Eddie as i have seen nothing about the lad only what i have read . But he sounds like what we need a attacking rocket.

4.) 12 Aug 2019 07:00:59
That’s a bit positive Chris, are you feeling ok?

5.) 12 Aug 2019 11:21:50
ha ha, had a run out with herself yesterday morning, so the joy was infectious i said i, d better start typing, ha ha, love to everyone on here 😂😂😂😂.

6.) 12 Aug 2019 15:02:14
Chirs Chris if it had that much impact you need to ask her, on our behalf to take one for the team a bit more often!

7.) 18 Aug 2019 09:12:45
I think Dallas has started the season well to be fair to him. It's a long season and Bielsa won't be afraid to throw any of the youngsters into the mix when needed. Hopefully we'll stay in the cups long enough to give some of the youngsters plenty of game time so they've ready when needed.

10 Aug 2019 17:47:48
Hope Eddie is the answer because bamford isn't.

1.) 10 Aug 2019 18:33:29
spot on wex pal, but be careful because you will be called a moan or clueless by lots on here who seem. to think everything is rosy . Same old same old soft as brown. stuff. in defence and can't score goals up front.

2.) 10 Aug 2019 22:06:00
Double whammy. Bamford is not very good and very unlucky.

08 Aug 2019 14:36:57
Any player of Value sold, no permanent player brought in to replace Smells like Radz last throw of the dice. Well so much for a 5 year plan Radz is a vulture fund came in got his money back sneaked Elland road into his pocket and gone a 3 year plan really.

1.) 08 Aug 2019 14:51:43
Well Phillips is staying and he could've demanded the biggest transfer fee. If Bates was still here, he'd have sold him for £250K!

2.) 08 Aug 2019 17:29:36
The players sold weren’t in MBs plans

Apart from Roofe

We go again Leeds.

03 Aug 2019 21:35:54
You have to be baffled by Radz thinking. Let your top scorers contract run down so you get half his value then sell him at the last minute so other owners know your stuck and can overcharge for a replacement.

1.) 03 Aug 2019 21:49:01

2.) 03 Aug 2019 22:52:23
He he won’t sign what can you do wex? Drug him and force him to sign, maybe he just want a different chapter in his career he owes us nothing and has been loyal and dedicated and seen out what he signed to do. It’s all about agents and money and players and agents go we’re the money is it’s just life.

3.) 04 Aug 2019 09:20:03
More concerned by the fact that we struggle to keep or recruit good players . I know it's the way football is now days but remember with fondness the days when players felt it was an honour to play for club like leeds. We was a big club once for some of you younger fans, iam sure your dad's told you about it. lol.

4.) 04 Aug 2019 10:40:33
Sadly Mezzer it seems to be all about money nowadays. Remember when it was about the pride of pulling on the white strip and the passion of the players. Its not about the dream of glory now its the dream of getting where the big bucks are for owners and players. Not many heart on your sleeve players left.

Hope Massimo and Elenora are fine.

1.) 20 Apr 2020 09:28:48
Too right, Wex! Well said.

2.) 20 Apr 2020 20:14:42
I hope so too wex as he was a heavy heavy smoker as I remember.

03 Apr 2020 21:51:37
Season to end behind closed doors after UEFA newsflash?

1.) 03 Apr 2020 22:29:40
called this earlier, money talks. prem won't pay back broadcasters, clubs won't pay back prem, players won't pay back clubs. the show must go on.

2.) 04 Apr 2020 00:36:08
Think the government in control of social distancing and can’t see uks finishing anytime soon.

3.) 04 Apr 2020 01:07:56
yeah but money behind football will make sure closed doors counts as a pass. To be fair leeds can say when it comes to set plays, corners and high balls our defence has been social distancing all season.

4.) 04 Apr 2020 08:30:19
Good point BW.

5.) 04 Apr 2020 09:14:21
We are a good social distance ahead of every other team in the league 😜.

6.) 04 Apr 2020 10:11:31
Think this will happen, and agree tv money will be the biggest driver. However, I also think the government realises the lockdown only mitigates risk it doesn’t move anything forwards and impact upon society ) social and economic) as a whole to go on indefinitely has the potential to be as catastrophic as the virus itself.

Therefore, I believe governments will actually encourage resumption of football worldwide (behind closed doors) for the euphoric placebo type lift it will provide for its populations. Phew that was a bit heavy, I need to get out more!

7.) 04 Apr 2020 12:04:38
Still not sure governments will take the risk.
It’s going to be minimum 3-4 months before social distancing lifted for anyone in uk. Other than essentiall.

8.) 04 Apr 2020 15:14:44
Not sure Aus I agree with the premise, however, this is an entirely different generation (include myself in that) to the more disciplined less materialistic war generation.

And preventing connection can only be sustained for so long with, advisory, even the hard tell. Think it would require a form of martial law to manage sixty million people indoors or social distancing for that long.

Even then t pandemics start with one infection if you wait 8 months if you’ve never contracted it what stops you getting it once lockdown is released. This is where the so called herd immunity kicks in you have to have greater numbers either recovered or immune.

That being said Aus politically what leader wants to be the leader in history that was found to have released the lockdown too soon.

Hope you and all your family are safe and well mate.

9.) 05 Apr 2020 00:55:47
We are all well and Aus and particularly WA seem to be fairing well. Prob cause we are so isolated and have learnt from the rest of the world.

16 Mar 2020 20:45:25
If the grand national is cancelled on the 4th of April that doesn't bode well for any other sports to be happening. So we can say the league won't be happening.

1.) 16 Mar 2020 21:42:14
Wex It Ain'treel 😆.

2.) 16 Mar 2020 21:53:26
George 🤦‍♂️.

3.) 16 Mar 2020 22:59:22
If the euros are cancelled, there’s a good chance that leagues may be completed, as it offers up time. Fingers crossed.

4.) 16 Mar 2020 23:20:43
Christ George, that was bad even by your standards.

5.) 17 Mar 2020 10:19:10
love that one gerge really made me chuckle

seira A have asked for euro's to be postponed until next summer so their league can be completed, Prem league should follow suit.

it doesn't make sense to keep internationals that can happen next year at the expense of maybe 40 leagues that need to be concluded. but then it would ruin leeds so who knows.

08 Mar 2020 11:39:04
Heres the thing the game that could define our season is one we won't be involved in brom v Fulham.

1.) 08 Mar 2020 12:16:04
Plus Fulham v Bees and Bees v Brom!

07 Mar 2020 20:28:46
Think its evident that the players have learned from last season and the experience of faltering at the final hurdle and seem mentally stronger.

1.) 07 Mar 2020 20:40:51
Game management is certainly better.

2.) 07 Mar 2020 20:47:16
Agree 100% Wex. There is something different about our team at the moment. Across the board, there is a strength, determination, and most importantly a confidence. We are going up as effing champions!

3.) 07 Mar 2020 20:53:52
Christ Wex, you're getting a bit positive.

4.) 07 Mar 2020 20:54:42
Hope the last 2 games have done the young keepers confidence a power of good. One game at a time boys, but secretly jumping for joy inside.

5.) 07 Mar 2020 21:11:14
Tory I still think our owner is riding his luck in all fairness look at our January signings are non runners crazy but we seem to be getting away with it.

6.) 07 Mar 2020 21:46:31

The harder we work, the luckier we are.

7.) 07 Mar 2020 21:50:01
# one big game at a time.

8.) 07 Mar 2020 22:21:42
Woody not questioning the squads work rate.
