Hey guys, I meant to check in sooner and wish ye the best for the upcoming season, I see Villa sniffing around gnonto, what's going on with him at the moment? Is he a bad egg? I don't usually like to see that kind of behaviour from players trying to push for a move but maybe you lot can tell me if it's warranted or not, he seemed like a real talent from what games I seen him in last season.

He had a few good games then he developed a great trait where he runs to the corner flag and loses ball .
He's actually got. very good at that, now he's Farked at Leeds, no way back imo, so he's always going out the door now

Whack Totally warranted so far as behaviour from the former regime. Totally unwarranted in terms of the new ownership. Good player who desires a stable EPL club generally and in order to preserve his international selection aspirations.

Agree with George, there’s no doubt he is talented, would have preferred to keep him but his aspirations for the Azzurri will dominate his desire to play in the Premiership. Even more so now Mancini has left his post as he did favour Gnonto. He’ll be wanting to impress now more than ever.
Villa might get better out of him than we did with a dis functional team and coach.

It really is so simple. Good players want to play with other good players. It helps them feel good, play even better and win things. They'll be patient for a while but if they see their employer regressing recruitment wise (let alone progressing) they'll kick up a stink and force a move. These are modern day footballers, not ethical philosophers pursuing the rights of mankind and humanity as a whole. I dare say a couple of promises have been broken along the way with these players. Certainly were with the fans by the club. Europe! Stadium expansion! ?.

Think he stood out because the rest were so poor and our midfield was almost non existent.
Its possible he will be able to show his talents with better players around him but nothing special for me.
Lots of Leeds fans rate him so entirely possible I'm wrong but just can't see it!

Indeed TJ and Mighty . Tyler Adams equates to half a season of mostly mediocrity and the other half injured .
bizarrely one or two somehow have him as their Leeds United Player of the Year.

Adams definitely brings something to the table. His type of play is similar to Phillips, good engine and is able on a regular basis to snuff out at source a lot of opponents attacking play. Where he differs from Phillips is that he’s unable to pin point a ball.
I hope we can keep him, one of the only shinning lights in our team in this very poor season.
Sadly had a long injury at the end of the season when we needed him the most, it’s feasible to say that we may have not been relegated with him in the squad? .

However, many pundits rate Adams, both for us and USMNT. Defensively sound and deceptively quick, enabling him to cover ground well to break up opposition play, plus strong leadership. Tends to win the ball and pass it short rather than progressing through the lines himself or passing longer, though he can do both of these and could probably also improve in them. Unlikely to bring much offensively - basically more of a classic ball winning DM, which I guess would enable Howe to free up Guimarães from some of his current defensive work.

Ten times the player Phillips is… we was staying up until he got injured and once he was out the team we fell to bits.
I hear that West Ham are selling rice and buying Phillips…so West Ham are down next season so only two spots left.

George, yes, largely self-inflicted but wounds all the same and, so long as the ownership is sorted quickly, it is possible to get straight back up.
Burnley were in a mess and many said their new ownership model gave them no chance, but they turned things around very quickly.

I see where your coming from mate I do and it’s a good business plan, I guess the point I’m making is that if the most important thing for these players would be getting the chance to play under someone like MB so in theory they would accept smaller wages making the deals more sustainable and suiting your structure, but in reality all these players care about is money at the end of the day (with a small number of exceptions) hence why 99% of players will choose the club offering the most money and the only time the manager will affect the players decision between 2 clubs is if both packages are pretty similar. It’s my thinking that they work off a list in their head kind of thing…
1. Money
2. Chance of winning trophies
3. Regular starts
4. League/ location
5. Possibly the manager/ playing style
I think maybe 2 and 3 could swap places in some instances as some players happy to play bit part roles, I’m interested to see your thinking on that list, or add in a couple more things to the equation but I don’t think money will not be on anyone’s number 1, I’m not talking about the likes of Philips for example staying loyal to the club he grew up at, the scenario is 2 clubs attempting to buy a certain player, what do u guys think?

If they love him so much why do u not have a bunch of Argentinian’s in your squad? I don’t buy into the thinking that MB could make him a better keeper, Mellier is naturally talented, kiko is not and that’s why he got the chop. however there is no doubting that MB could make outfield players better and his system/ style is very good.

Danny drinkwater don’t touch him with a barge pole he’s toxic we had him on loan a few seasons back and all he did was cause problems and get himself in trouble off field.
