Been reported that we were looking at Tom Ince from Hull and Matty Phillips from QPR. Not sure on the validity of the claims because of the source but obviously Ince is gone anyway. I'd love to sign Phillips on loan though if we couldn't get someone like Knockaert instead.

What's everyone's thoughts on Tom Adeyemi? I think he's actually a really useful box to box midfield player who excels when Chris Wood plays alone up front and he can get up to support. Been unlucky not to score more goals because I remember him hitting the bar a few times. I'd personally like to sign him.

Agreed. I'd sign him. Would consistently make bench every game. Would prove very useful squad player at least.

I think for the next game we have to make some changes and with all games now being a dead rubber I think it's time to try something like this:
GK: Silvestri
LB: Denton
RB: Berardi
LCB: Bamba
RCB: Del Fabro
LDM: Cook
RDM: Murphy
LW: C. Taylor
RW: Byram
CAM: Mowatt
ST: Montenegro
I know it's a few more from the academy but I think it's best to test them. I think subs should also be:
- S. Taylor
- Dawson
- Sloth
- Doukara
- Walters
- Cani
- N'Goyi
I think we should play with that for the last few games as we have nothing to play for. I think Dawson needs a few games to get used to the league and he could be good. Also think Montenegro has to be tried as we lack finishing, as well as N'Goyi as he could be used to close out games from a leading position. Thoughts?

I was just flicking through the posts around here and I can't believe I'm still seeing people insult Neil Redfearn. Since Christmas time he's got us solid at the back, good through the middle, playing with some width and most importantly WINNING. Morison hasn't scored but he's been crucial to some of our wins and that seems to be everybody's biggest complaint.
Now people are calling for Anetnucci back because he scored 1 lucky goal, whereas a few months back when we were stagnating badly, people couldn't wait to get him on the bench.
Remember our mid-week hoodoo? Our awful away form? Redders has sorted those out (look at yesterday, 3-0 on a wednesday?) and the players really seem to be playing for him now. No coach could have come in and done better with the players at his disposal I don't think.

Of course Redders should stay, he's done great to get us where we are. Does not mean we all have to agree with all his choices and next season I will be very surprised if Morrison is getting any games. Redders started getting results and stuck with it, fair play but even he has said we need a top striker. Morrisons playing because Smith left. mot

I understand that the team has done well!
And as mel says below, maybe to settle the ship reddders should be given
a 1 yr contract.
A winger.
And a striking striker.
I think the rest of team is pretty much ok.
But he just doesn't inspire me with confidence unfortunately. I think he has trouble adapting squad and tactics! Anyway. I'm happy we are winning and long may it continue.

Apparently Leeds looking at a loan for Frazier Campbell. Would be worth a punt for the pace up front and can do it well at this level.

Does anyone think we could actually sign Pavoletti? I'm not 100% sure but I have a bad feeling that we won't and we'll instead go for Cani. Most of our signings under Massimo have been players that we've had no competition to sign, which isn't the case with Pavoletti. If a multitude of clubs are chasing a player it means that they must possess some quality so I'm quite eager to get him in. Thoughts?
1.) Sound reasoning to me. Whatever happens with him, its going to be in the last couple of hours of deadline day I'm guessing
2.) Pavoletti has signed for chievo with a n other player(stiker)going theother way

All of these names stemmed from a HiTC article about free agents that Leeds should target. Since then various sites have named them as targets Leeds are pursuing which is not the case.

When I was looking at his card on a FIFA site there were a load of Albania/Bari fans proper slating him and saying he's awful. MC and NS seem to spot some fairly good players but I have a feeling that Cani isn't one of them.

Habibou is a good player who never got a chance to shine at Leeds, Cani is a bad player who never got a chance to drag a whole team to his poor level.

It's all well and good saying that Adryan is a good player and has talent but what did he actually bring when he was playing for us? He did a couple of fancy tricks and very little else, whereas someone like Doukara who got assists and goals is never called for by the fans.
Also what you need to remember here is that Cellino has been proved to be a liar. Said he was going to spend the McCormack money on buying ER and hasn't bothered. He said he had wiped the club of debt and now it's been revealed that the club is still in a ton of debt.
I really wanted to like MC but it's obvious to anyone but those clinging to any hope of him being decent that he's earned his reputation as a con artist and a crook.

You're absolutely right about N'Goyi mate. Saw earlier that Redders was gushing over how the back four looks shaky without Cook, and that we're missing the player to replace him. Surely N'Goyi is the natural replacement.

Think I've got to swing for Cooper in this argument. At the beginning of the season it was easy to make a case for Cooper being our best CBand the only thing changing that is Bamba. Cooper is still better than Bellusci and only thing I'd consider is giving Del Fabro a go cause what I've seen of him looks really good.
As for getting Redfearn out I'd say no. We've had good results under him and giving a bit of stability and freedom (like he had when we were one of the form teams for most of 2015) then we could easily push for playoffs next season. Unfortunately he'll never get that here so I think he'll leave one day anyway.
