Shocking performance from some today, some look out of sorts, don't get allioski playing 90mins, Dallas, Cooper?, but still believe we are punching above our weight, don't think the players are a top 6 team, imo.

Agree with the first bit Richie but I do think we are easily a top 6 team. That's not to say that we are the finished article and could argue that maybe we do need a couple of top quality recruits come Jan.

Big call from Bielsa if it's true that he dosent want him, guessing that's why such a cheap fee, once agents let clubs know we don't want him they can chance there arm, plus offer bigger wages, surprised a bigger club hasn't looked at him, in MB we trust.

Freeman to blades, barbet to QPR, Powell to stoke, lad from forest green to huddersfield, hope we have some gems lined up because all those could of been decent additions.

Freeman, to a Premier league outfit were he has a very good chance of getting a lot of game time. don't blame the lad
Barbet, to a team were he doesn't have to move the family, possibly find new schools for the kids, and stays in the Lindon area. don't blame the lad
Powell, to the largest team in his families locale, with parachute payments, were he can walk in to the side. don't blame the lad
Greece, to a team with parachute payments, were he can walk in to the side. don't blame the lad
All the above names, none of them would be a guaranteed starter for Leeds this coming season, as the squad looks today. Personally, and I have said this all along, I would prefer to see one signing that is better than what we already have
Bamford is better than Ekuban, so altho he hasn't set the world alight I am happy we made that change. He was only £7m (to have to pay £10m he will have to be a 20 goal striker and we win the league. I would love to have to pay £10m for him) and he has goals. We sold Ekuban for £1m profit so Bamford could be seen as only £6m improvement
Casilla is better than BPF, even if he hasn't covered himself in glory yet.
Improve on Cooper
Improve on Harrison/ Alioski on the LW
Then we have a chance of going up.

Those players would of strengthen the squad, which last season was the problem, need a strong squad, if an out of form player is looking at a bench of unplayed kids, who MB dosent trust then weres the motivation, our backup CB is/ was berardi, ? Strong squad, stoke to Wigan is 9 miles nearer than leeds to wigan,
Like I said hope we have some gems lined up.

In fact I never said those players chose those moves over us, we were never in for them, 2 freebies and 4 mill is watvwere looking at financially, u say cooper replacement, who how much whose available no one at least barbet would be cover.

I honestly feel that another 3 or 4 of the 23’s will be part of the first team squad this year, and with a full preseason under Bielsa, will be fitter, stronger and able to step up, giving us extra strength in depth. A couple of astute signings and we will be ready.

Regarding Powell. I made reference to his family coming from Sandbach (near Crewe, his first professional team) , which is 11 miles from Stoke City.
I wasnt even considering his link to Wigan. Apologies for the confusion there.
I agree that at times our bench looked underwhelming. My thoughts are if you improve a position in the first team then the original owner of the shirt is demoted to the bench. This in turn improves the quality of the bench.
I would prefer that approach to us forever buying players who aren't as good as the incumbent, with the faint hope they improve enough to oust the incumbent at some later date.

The question is has he asked to leave is MB had enough, don't know what's gone on behind closed doors, sorry but 5.5 mill won't get us a dive 1 defender good enough, personally club should of tried to work it out, think he is no more than a lower level premier player at best, but will be a big loss if not replaced,

Spot on in regards BPF, great distribution, great shot stopper, but also needs to more assertive, look how many times a long ball goes over our defence, he should be on his toes and out to it, beradi header on Sat the same, needs to be more commanding, I know he us only a lad and Pontus and coops strong characters, but needs to bark at them. But i ain't knocking him as a goalie.
Probably sign for another championship club and will be awesome for them

Agree Spanish think both harrison and clarke will play more as I think it will be part of loan agreement, definitely think that's y harrison played so much last season, pablo in middle maybe? Along side Costa endless options across the 4 klich as well.

MB must have been promised something or why else would he of stayed around, he said this squad can't go again, I think a dig at radz so why stay if there's no investment? Heres hoping.
