From the horses mouth, leeds offered Celtic £2mill for lee griffiths, if it's upped to nearer £2.5mill business could be done. Also terms nearly agreed. Worth a punt for a potential regular Scottish international with champions league experience last season, also scored bags of goals towards back end of last season. if wood does go, and mcbadgkisser is linked to us, it would take an awful lot to get fans back onside. initially a massive pay cut would possibly start this. maybe going to prove that he isn't a mercenary just after 1 last pay day. also losing about a stone in weight to prove he's fit enough. the man does have an eye for goal though.

if wood does go. and it is silly money for a great return last season, he reminds me of when beckford scored for fun. but how many did he miss. If mcbadgekisser is linked i'd take him providing he takes a massive paycut to prove he wants to come back and play football, because he certainly does know where the back of the net is.

agree to most of you replies above, but what about dallas at left back, or wing back. to me anita hasn't shown any reason why he should start, apart from having pace, makes needless tackles/fouls. what we have lacked is an enforcer type midfielder to look after saiz, remember when we sign vinnie, his sole job was to protect strachan. i feel we had that man and should have kept dave to do that role.
for me we should line up attacking against boro as monk won't know what we are capable of attacking from his time at leeds, but if we play this sideways tappy football then monk will have a system in place. i think we should go with lonergan, ayling, pontus, cooper, dallas.
midfield shaugnessy holding then 3 of viera, o'kane, phillips, siaz in number 10 rloe, if fit ekuban, if not lassoga, and use some width to supply him.
